Research trip 5/15-5/18 - Anybody want to meet up?

I've finally set the dates for my spring research trip. I'll be down May 15-18, the Thursday-Sunday following Mother's Day. I haven't finalized my schedule yet, but if anybody will be there during that time and wants to meet up, let me know when you're available and where you'll be then.

I'll even have some MousePlanet buttons to hand out! (And I think I found a couple of extra MouseStation buttons, too!)

Nothing booked - but high likelihood for an October trip (got hit the F&W fest) and only slightly less likelihood for MouseFest! (Depends on if I get sick this spring, since sick time and vacation time are all one pool!)

We'll have to see how the October dates work out. In the meantime, as far as MouseFest goes, I have to say it. "Don't get sick!"

    Speaking of October and December....
We got our late-October trip booked with the exception of our flights. (10/29 - 11/3)

MouseFest is a GO for this year with everything all set, including our flights. And darn it, we are not canceling this year.

And our late-April trip completing the "Trip-Trifecta" for this year.

DH & I will be there May 16-18 @ OKW.
Friday we arrive at MCO @ 10:30, check in and then probably over to DtD for the rest of the day. Dinner at Wolfgang Pucks @ 7:00 pm.
Saturday we plan on doing MK all day with dinner at Tony's @ 8:05pm.
Sunday we will most likely do Epcot all day with dinner at Coral Reef @ 8:10pm.
Monday we check out and will probably go to DtD for the day with no set meals. Our DME pick up will probably be around 5:30pm.
Let me know where you might be able to say hi, we are pretty flexible since we won't have the kids with us. We tend to get up early and go late.

Small change of plans for Saturday night. We have cancelled Tony's and will be going to Concord Steak house at 8pm. (Concord has changed their closing date to May 21)

    Sorry I'll miss you, cheshirecatgirl.

KJSJ, I'm still ironing out my schedule, between meeting up with contacts, taking the Owner's Locker guys to dinner and trying to get some interviews set up. Once it starts solidifying, I'll post my general itinerary and we'll see where we can meet up.

Cool. I hope we can work something out, although my DH thinks it's a bit to want to meet people from here I think it's pretty neat!

If you see a giddy English family of four clutching touring plans, too much excitement and gallons of water in August on their own family trip, this will be Team Scoobydoodby. I will of course recognise you by your cartoon picture

When are you going in August? I realize that it's a family trip and you don't want to meet up with a bunch of others, but I'm just curious if we'll be there at the same time. We fly in Aug 17 and fly out Aug 24

For our August trip, we're arriving on 8/23, and we're with our large family group (around 20 of us) through 8/25, then we're staying on through 8/31.

Just a brief update. So far, I haven't gotten any feedback on interview scheduling, so I really don't know when I'm going to be booked yet. On tomorrow's Listener Feedback edition of the MouseStation podcast, in response to a couple of listener emails regarding a meet, I asked for ideas on what kind of meet we should have. Thoughts that I put out include meets for a few of my favorite things (no singing now): Soarin', Illuminations or Mousssse. I'm open to other ideas, though. Let me know what you think.

(Sorry IslandDisneyGirl, I forgot your screen name while we were recording and called you IslandMickeyGirl on the show.)

Last I've heard, unless they've changed it again, is May 31.
