Disneyland 1/2 Marathon [At Full Capacity]

DL 1/2 is now 50% full! I guess better signup DW and I.

I don't know if I will be ready from surgery 5 weeks ago plus the 2nd one on same knee in 3 weeks. They are putting my own cartilage grown in lab back in and cutting my knee bone and inserting plate. 2 months on crutches before being able to put weight on. I should be good to go by ToT 13K and Goofy in 09. Recovery is 9-12 months

Ouch! Sounds painful! Wishing you a speedy recovery and hope to see you at the Half Marathon! I registered several weeks ago!

    SN: Thanks!

The surgery was scheduled to last only 2 1/2 hrs but took almost 4 I have a brace from my hip to my ankle. Can't crutch up my stairs so have to crawl! Life is cyclic

Wow, that sounds pretty rough. Wishing you an easy, speedy recovery.

This is a pic of from my surgery. The 1st pic shows the "defect"(I call pothole) in my cartilage. The second one shows the ACI surgery where they put a "cap" from my shin to cover the defect and keep the new cartilage cells from escaping. The lower part of the pic shows the new hardware(plate and screws) inserted.

For those who are still putting it off, the website is now reporting that the half marathon is at 75% capacity.

The Fun Run is only at 55%.

Does anyone know the capacity for the half marathon this year? The first year was 12,000 (I think) and last year was 14,000. I have never seen a figure for this year. Thank you.

^ Gosh, I don't remember if Disney released any information about that.

Meanwhile, posted on the official site...
