Someone on another forum just posted a thread about the pool at POFQ being closed January through February. Anyone hear anything about this? I couldn't find any info about it anywhere. We will be staying there Feb.6-13 and my kids would be REALLY dissappointed if they couldn't swim. We could always go over to POR but my DD was really looking forward to the dragon slide!
According to the information in the most recent MouseSaver's newsletter (sign up at http://www.mousesavers.com):
"Doubloon Lagoon (Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter) closed 1/28/08 3/15/08 for refurbishment. Guests may use the Ol' Man Island feature pool at Port Orleans Riverside."
SuzieQ, thanks for the heads up about the pool closure. We are going on Jan 2, and would be bummed too if it was closed. Looks like it will still be open for us, but not for you, I'm so sorry.
