My celeb sightings at DLR:
Collin Mockery with the tall brown haired guy he did "Who's Line Is It Anyway? We were in line for Soarin before the park was "offically" opened to the public. It was for some CHOC thing.
Prince Alber-Wrestler from WWE/WWF
He was going to ride on Small World with another wrestler and some friends, but they couldn't because they weighed too much.
Andy Dick and son
I was in line for Space Mountain and he was there with his son. People were wanting to take pictures with Andy, but his son kept messing around, and blocking the camera.

I have meet many celebrities myself and of course if its some one your not a fan of it does not matter but trust me when its the ones your a big fan of it can leave you spechless.
Something tells me I might not be on the popular side of this thread but here goes anyway.
It's a given, celebrities have many perks that regular folks don't. Privacy, however, doesn't seem to be one of them.
Consider this: Celebs might want to go to Disneyland to have fun, just like us. Maybe they want to spend a day there with their kids. Can you imagine what a pain in the patoot it must be to be stopped every few minutes, asked for an autograph or a photo, and hear, "Oh, I'm such a big fan of yours!"? If the celeb is gracious about it, the fan goes away with a nice feeling about them (even if the fan has totally barged in, in the dazzle of being in the celeb's presence and feeling that this might be the only opportunity to see/talk them), but if the celeb gets fed up with it (say you're the 250th person who's asked that day), then the fans think they're jerks. There's no winning. The celebrity isn't there to be a walk-around character like Pooh or Tigger, they are a guest, just like you are.
Part of the magic of going to Disneyland is being able to leave the Real World outside. Celebs can't really do that. I'm sorry they can't quite have that experience.

One year Cary Grant was the narrator of the Christmas Candlelight Procession concert in the Main Street square. I remember straining to see Cary Grant, who had white hair at that time and thick black glasses, reading his script. He did it 4 times, 1969, 1973, 1974 and 1978. I saw him at the 1978 one. The choirs were all arranged all over the Main Street railroad station, and he was standing on a platform about halfway up, facing Sleeping Beauty's Castle. I had heard his name and knew that he was a movie star, but I had not seen any of his movies at that time.

I agree. It also must be rough on the security folks, who may find themselves having to push away a pushy fan.

Very cool, you can now say you got to see him in person.
Here's a Web site with a picture of Cary from one of the events:

I agree. I try never to intrude. The times that I've seen celebrities in Disneyland, I've offered up a friendly smile and moved on.

Self-Proclaimed Disney Queen!
I think it was 8/28, but we saw a small film group to the right as we exited through the castle into Fantasyland and it was Tony Baxter (Imagineer extraordinaire) being filmed! I recognized him and said 'Oh, it's Tony Baxter!' to my hubby (perhaps a bit more loudly than I meant, since the CM standing there smiled at me and a couple of others turned to look at me)!!! I wanted to go back and ask for his autograph, but didn't want to intrude.
Tony may not be a celebrity to everyone, but he sure is to this Disney fan!

Please don't poke the celebrity
Celebrity-in-some-circles and "Jeopardy!" champion Ken Jennings addresses this on his blog.
He is frank and uses a word or two that may offend the sensitive, but it's a good look from the other side of the microscope.

♥ Disney Lover ♥
I have seen Seal and Heidi Klum there several times but have always let them be.
We caught Guy Fieri checking into the Grand Californian and started talking to him he was so nice and we were both talking about Northern California and how we had to represent.
When we were there in December for Christmas Candlelight Procession we saw John Stamos who of course was the narriator but we saw him signing autographs but did not care to wait. We also saw Dave Coulier who was walking down Mainstreet where we tried to say Hello and he looked at us and gave us dirty looks and said nothing he was not with security or anything I think he must have some ego.
We've also seen Eriq La Salle from ER but he was on a mission. The last one we saw was E.D. (Evil Dick) from Big Brother 8 and I got to talk to him he was awesome he was loving pointing all the Mickey Ears out that guests were wearing.

Wow. This was eye-opening. Of course, now it seems perfectly obvious. But I hadn't thought of it that way before. I'll do the smile and nod thing from now on, if I actually spot anyone.
I did run into some celebs in Vegas at one point but just talked to them like everyone else -- because I didn't recognize them. In fact, it was one of them that initiated the conversation. I guess they realized I didn't know who they were. After we were in our room, my sister told me who they were. And they were very nice. Just normal, polite, funny folks.

My brother saw Weird Al in line at Disneyland on a previous trip. He was SO excited, but didn't want to intrude on his day by saying howdy.
Have you seen his 'Skipper Dan' Jungle Cruise video on YouTube?

Part of the magic of going to Disneyland is being able to leave the Real World outside. Celebs can't really do that. I'm sorry they can't quite have that experience.
I do feel for them too, and yet, kinda don't. I guess I mean I do if they are there with their kids and just trying to have a low down quiet day. That said, that sentiment SO didn't ring w/DH when he took a few pics of a Celeb w/his daughter we saw. I felt bad afterwards. It would bother me.
However, it was annoying when we were stuck on Pirates for 5-7 mins, and figured it was just some issue, until DH explained how he saw Randy Jackson w/a very big entourage coming off a few mins before we did. I think it's maybe the entourage size that was more the issue there, but it was a little irritating. Normal folks don't disturb the rides you know.
We've had some interesting experiences during three visits- so i can kind of understand the oddness- we had perfect strangers ask to take (and did take) pics of my girls. I am in a 'multiples' club, and it ALWAYS happens alot to a fellow club member who has quads. I feel for them.
Oddly, one of our "celeb sightings" was when a Celeb stopped to talk to us (well DH and the girls), I missed her cuz I was on TOT.

If the celeb is an A lister chances of getting close to them is a no no unless you some how pass the bodyguards. Also if the celebrity wanted to be like the normal person they would wait in the long lines like us instead of pulling out there Alist card Im just saying.
