The plaid we like too use is also his normal plaid. She says he is a lot of fun to escort.

I've seen James Spader w/his son, Corey Feldman (snapped a picture of him),
Laura San Giacomo from "Just Shoot Me" with her husband and child, Marcus Bell - previously of the Detroit Lions, Ice Cube and his family...sneaking in the handicapped entrance on Casey Jr. Train, and someone else...his name escapes me. It's fun seeing the famous. I've never seen anyone bothering, annoying or disturbing these people. They probably have different opinions though!

Really? Your post made me go on worldofbritney for the first time in a long time. Now I'm depressed. That poor girl needs help. But no luck on pictures of her at the land. Can paparazi get in?

Paparazi can get in (if they buy a ticket), but if they behave badly Disneyland can boot them out.

Decades ago I saw singer Rod Stewart with his family at Disneyland. Everything was fine until all of a sudden it seemed like everyone realized who he was and he began to be mobbed with fans. Security had to intervene and rescue him (and his family) from the fans. It wasn't the paparazi that was the problem that time, although I think they have gotten worse since then.

Of interest to General Hospital fans only...

Last Sunday (12/16) I saw Sonja Eddy (nurse Epiphany Johnson) at DCA. I was a single rider on California Screamin' and they put me right next to her. I bought the photo and she graciously signed it for me. My first and only "celebrity" sighting so far, but it meant the world to this soap fan!

    Reba

My sister was at Disneyland in November. She spotted Reba McEntire at the Blue Bayou with a young girl. She actually spotted her first comming out of the bathroom as she was going in. Once she got back to the table she started chit-chatting about Reba with some folks at the table next to her, and the waitress overheard and queried if they were talking about the "VIP" they had there. All the waitress knew was that she was a VIP but not who. Guess she was not much of a country music fan.

Is John Lasseter a celebrity? Then I saw John Lasseter at Grand Californian over Thanksgiving weekend. I left my sister on the benches outside of Storytellers while I went to use the restroom in the lobby. A group of tall men in nice suits surrounding a tall man with bad posture and a stern look on his face passed going in the other direction. I never would have looked twice at the dude in the center if it hadn't been for the executives around him but they were there and I did.

I wanted to tell my sister but I did not want to run back, point and yell, "Hey! Hey! Look, it's John Lasseter!" So I followed the group back to where she was and did a weird little noiseless dance that I hoped would convey the same meaning. Miraculously, she figured out what I meant. She looked straight at him, looked at me and mouthed, "Is that John Lasseter?"

We were quite starstruck. Now, can anyone tell us what he was doing there?

I saw Victoria Jackson there last week...she was on Saturday Night Live and just was on Celebrity Fit club awhile back..... When I first caught a glance at her I just thought she was someone I knew because she looked so familiar, but when she sat at a table next to mine I realized who she was... lol

On a side note I was at the Park on the 14th and never saw Britney! bummer.. lol I did go by the nightmare shop when it was closed though and thought that was really weird..... how funny.

In my humble opinion, John Lasseter is a huge celebrity and the fact that he is seen at the parks make me an even bigger fan. He is the the closest we can get to Walt and he is making our Disney world a better place!

Someone told me Tommy Lasorda was in the park with a granddaughter today, but I didn't see them (but I have no reason to doubt the person who told me).

Yesterday, we saw a Guest Relations CM escorting someone who looked like a goth singer--the hair, makeup, clothes, etc--but the guy was also pushing a stroller carrying a completely average looking child. No idea who it was.

It turns out that the someone I thought I saw last week probably was exactly who I thought it was...

We were there the weeked of 11/18 and when I saw John Lasseter I pointed him out to my son and husband...my 8 year old almost passed out over seeing him in person. We thought it was darn cool. If he would wear a normal polo though I wonder if I would have seen him LOL

It all started with a mouse, and Tom Sawyers Island. :::wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more:::

12/26 I saw Dennis Quaid with his family in CalAdventure. I mentioned it to a CM the next day and she confirmed he was there the day before. Nice looking guy in person. I was happy that people were leaving him alone. It looked like he was enjoying a nice day with his kid(s). He had a big smile on his face and was following a tour guide into Soaring.

Bryan Singer (X-Men fame) sat right behind us on 12/19 during the 9pm Fantasmic.

I would be willing to bet that we have probably all seen celebrities and not even known it. For example, I love sports, and we rode Soarin' right after Kenny Smith of NBA on TNT fame (played at North Carolina and for the Houston Rockets), but a lot of people probably wouldn't have had a clue who he was. On the flip side, although I know who Bryan Singer is, I wouldn't have had a clue what he looks like, and would have never known he was in the park that day, had I been there.

P.S. Does Ed Grier count? I saw Elusive Ed last summer over by Nemo. That might be the rarest sighting of all!

Planning for a trip in summer 2013! That will be 3 years since I've been, very excited to see all the newness

    Moving

With all the moving, why hasn't this been moved to "trip reports"?

Ha, that's funny we saw Kobe on the 26th (day after Christmas) pushing a stroller past the Blue Bayou right after we finished eating there.

Whoa that's way funny! We were there on the 26th! (actually we ended up leaving early so we went home that day). Does this mean I have a celebrity following me?
