I know it's a little early, but the extended forecast on weather.com calls for high of 82 and low of 63! I'd say that's pretty near perfect....let's hope it stays that way!

I checked accuweather on Wednesday, and it was saying rain on Saturday. I hope not!
I just checked weather.com and it's not looking good. I sincerely hope that this race doesn't get rained out. Has this ever happened at a Disney race? Anybody got any tips for running in the rain? 8.1 miles is a long time to be wet
Jen in GA
NOAA:Weather.com:Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a high near 85. South southeast wind around 5 mph.
Saturday Night: A slight chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. East southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 20%.accuweather.com:Day - Scattered T-Storms. High 83 F. Precip 40%. Max humidity 77%.

Night - Low: 69F RealFeel: 70F. Overcast with thunderstorms
I hope the course is very well lighted. Jen and I are doing the 6.5K and our goal is to finish in ~90 minutes, which averages 2.7 MPH (a fast walk). If it's raining but the run is not cancelled, I imagine everyone will slow down a bit.

I think the forecast in Florida always calls for a 30% chance of rain, just to be safe! I'm an optimist, so I'm predicting an 80% chance of clear skies!!
The target near me has some cheap, compact rain ponchos near the camping equipment, so I bought a few. They cost less than a dollar and can fit in my pocket, so I figured if I need to I can wear it for a mile or two and toss it when I get too hot. I plan on "packing" some dry clothes and another rain poncho, and probably flip flops in the bag that I will check so I can change into dry clothes, and stay dry after the race. Also, bring a baseball hat to keep the rain off your face and head.
I am a little concerned about thunder and lightning cancelling the race...but since there is no way to prevent or prepare for that I'm going to try to put it out of my mind!
