Trading pins in my carry on? [airport security]

I'm flying to DL on Friday! I'm so excited that I'm already packing!! My park bag is covered in trading pins. Do you think I'll be able to keep it in my carry-on bag?

You should have no problem. They will go through the x-ray machine, and if they have a question, they will simply have you open your bag and show them what they are (or they will look themselves). It is not nearly as complicated as a laptop or a camera.

Neither laptops nor cameras have sharp points!

I wouldn't chance it. I'd take them all off because if they make you take them off there, you'll have to toss them! Put them on a lanyard and check them in your luggage?

I just came through with my laynard in my bag and one pin on me. No problems what so ever. I would say I have about 20 on the lanyard. I flew with Delta.
