Buying SoCal Pass @ Disney Online or at AMA
I am flying with my family of 6 from Calgary to LA in a week and intend to buy the Southern California (SoCal) pass which includes 3 days at Disney, 1 at Universal and a couple at San Diego sites. The passes are available on-line from the Disney website or at the AAA equivalent here in Calgary.
It will be used first at Disneyland.
I wondered if anyone has experience buying the SoCal pass online through Disney's website and knows if I print it up one at home and use it or if it is only ordered online but mailed out later (being in Canada that could take some time). Also, if buying it online through Disney, will that allow me to go through the regular lines, as I would if I bought a regular Disney ticket on-line, and would therefore be a little quicker into the park, or if I will have to go through the separate ticket booth entry point. If that latter, it doesn't really matter where I buy it.
Thanks in advance for your input.

If you buy the SOCal CityPass online and use the print at home option, you must start your trip at that park, for example, if you purchase at Disneyland.com, you would have to go to the Disneyland Ticket Windows and exchange the voucher for the actual CityPasss booklet, and then they will take the Disneyland voucher out of the book and exchange it for a 3 day ParkHopper. Then you just take the booklet to the other parks, each has directions on how to use them.
Here is a copy of the actual booklet.
