What is on your DVD wish-list?
I LOVED the 1975-1976 single season of Ellery Queen on NBC. From the 1940s setting (Stork club etc.) to the great performances from Jim Hutton, David Wayne, John Hillerman, et.al. to Ellery's challenge to solve the crime using the same info he had, I thought this show was aces.
In fact, I wonder why it was cancelled in the first place!!!

I would really love to revisit the short-lived series "Unsub," especially given the explosion of similar shows that followed the success of CSI.

DH and I both really want the Get Smart complete series box set. But it's a little pricey, and there always seems to be something else to spend $250-ish on.

One of the live theatre productions was videotaped in 1980 and released on DVD. I have it. It's a straight-dub to DVD and it shows, but at least the original movie cast sans Estelle Parsons performance is recorded for posterity.

My DVD wish list includes:
Alias: The Complete Series in the Rambaldi box
The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.
Get Smart: The Complete Series from TimeLife
The Avengers: The Complete Emma Peel
TAoBCJ will probably be the next one I can strike off this list, being the cheapest of the lot on Amazon!

I thought this was a wish list for things not yet available on DVD? Otherwise, mine is much longer.

oops! for me too. Sorry.
Well, then I'll have to say Gullah Gullah Island, the children's series from Nick Jr. several years ago.

All my favorite shows from when I was a kid. I want my own kids to be able to watch them someday, and I would plain just like to see them again myself. Such as...
Today's Special
Pinwheel
Welcome to Pooh Corner
Dumbo's Circus
KIDS Incorporated
The Adventures of Little Koala
Mapletown
David the Gnome
And all those short pieces they used to play between shows on the Disney Channel, since they didn't have commercials. Anyone remember these? Mostly live action short stories. I have vague memories of these. One was about a girl named Cookie who was in the hospital and another was about a frog escaping from a little boy and being followed by a dog, I think. Like I said, vague!
more modern series:
Two of a Kind
State of Grace
both great but highly underrated shows that were canceled way too soon!
Movies:
Mr. Horatio Knibbles (They used to play this on the Disney Channel all the time too!)
The Chalk Garden (with Hayley Mills, a non Disney great movie!)

Add me to the "Song of the South" List. I have a video of the Japanese laser disc somewhere. But I want a DVD.

I really really really want Wonder Years to come out on DVD.
Why do people go on The Amazing Race without bothering to learn how to drive a stick shift?
