Advice on walk-in at Goofy's Kitchen?

    Hello,

Well, there is no PS available for a Saturday we would like to go to Goofy's Kitchen around 12:00. That is the day our party will be checking out of GCH, and since it will be a busy morning for us and Concerige will have breakfast for us, we were hoping our last activity would be lunch at Goofy's Kitchen. But, they are full.

Has anyone done a "walk in" at the restaurant and got in? I know there would be a wait but I was thinking we could send one down in our party and get us on a list maybe. Is this something recommended? Any other suggestions?

    Thanks.

We did one on Memorial Day. They tried to talk us out of it and warned that even after a 2 hour wait we could be turned away. We ended up getting called within 30min

I would say get there as early as possible to put your name in and be prepared to hang out for awhile!

I have never done this, but since you are staying "Concerige" maybe you can see if they can get you a reservation.

Like I said, I have never stayed on a concerige level at Disney, but generally a perk of having a concerige is them getting you reservations you normally couldn't get on your own. Heck it is worth asking!!!

and since you are staying at the resort hotels, you could also contact Vacation Planning - in my experience, they are amazing at getting reservations you wouldn't otherwise be able to get (fantasmic balcony seats etc). good luck!

Thanks soooooooo much for your suggestions. This is the latest....thanks to your ideas, I called the number on my WDTC info which got me directly to the GCH, and yes, they got me a 12:10 seating, perfect. Amazing what a little tenacity will do!
