Good place for sugar-free desserts in WDW

Just wondering if it is going to be as hard to find sugar free desserts in WDW as it is around our city. I know you can call ahead for some ADRs and inform them of special dietary needs, but what if I am in MK and want sugar free ice cream?

    Thanks

I do believe that all the counter service locations have at least 1 sugar-free dessert. The buffets and restaurants always do as well. They don't usually have them at the carts, though.

Very easy. Check out the menus are on allearsnet.com (and they're working on them for here at MP too!). You won't need to "plan ahead" too much--they'll be readily available.

Working hard for that next WDW trip! December 2013

If you are in the MK and have a hankerin' for sugar free ice cream, you might possibly find it at your nearest ice cream cart. Some carry it, some don't. Last time I had it, it was vanilla and came in a small plastic dish. It was ok, but nothing to write home about.

I found sugar free gelatin at various counter service restaurants. The applesauce at the counter services is also no sugar added.

For a real treat, the sugar free chocolate mousse at the little deli place (Kringola) in Epcot Norway is fabulous...the best sugar free treat I've ever laid lips on. Seriously good stuff.

I have found some sugar free offerings amongst the candy selections at various shops, including the candy shop... usually located in the Disney bagged candies section (hung on little pegs on walls or racks).

    oh, and...

Depending on your situation or reason (medical, diet choice) for going sugarless, if your particular eating plan allows, there are also fruit carts in each park. My rather fussy aunt thought the golden delicious apples were exceptionally good and worth the buck she paid for them. We also ate grapes out of the kid meals and thought they were pretty darn tasty and really satisfied the sweet tooth.

Sugar free due to dietary restrictions and unfortunately fruit right now is too high in natural sugar. But thanks for the Norway hint.
