Two new live-action Star Wars TV-movies, Lucas says
Buried below a secondary headline in this article at The Register is this tidbit:
Separately, the franchise marketing pioneer talked about his plans to further milk the Star Wars cash cow. A new Clone Wars animated series is scheduled to air in 2008, with two new hour-long straight-to-TV live action Star Wars adventures - set between Episodes III and IV - due to arrive in 2009.
George. Stop. Just stop. Please.

Is "movie" the proper word for a made-for-TV one-hour show?
I suppose if they get made I'll end up watching them, but I really wish Lucas would just stop.

Yes, it's the same logic as the 3 hour "mini series" that the new Battlestar Galactic had with Sci Fi.

Of the six Star Wars movies, the first two were good. The rest were terrible. I'm still confused as to the hype surrounding Lucas.
I agree with Andrew--it's time to let it go. He made his fortune, put it to rest.
