    Park Hopper Early Entry Question

We purchased a 5-day park hopper ticket for each of us. Part of the online description reads:

Park Hopper Bonus tickets include one admission for early entry into a designated theme park. An early entry admission allows access to a designated Disneyland Resort theme park before the park opens to the general public. While not available daily, the feature will be available multiple times per week.

We received the tickets with no explanation of when we could use our early entry or for which "designated park". Can someone explain our early entry benefit to me with little more clarity and detail?

    Thanks,
    Amy

EE mornings are subject to change, but in general are offered: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. An EE gets you into the park an hour earlier than other guests. If you are staying on-property, you get EE every morning it is offered during your stay. Another perk for paying the 2-3 times more than you would off-property.

The area offered to guests for EE is Fantasyland, Matterhorn, Space Mountain and Autopia. Plus, if you time it right, you can head over to Adventureland just before the offical park opening, and be one of the first to hit the attractions in other parts of the park! Kind of a mini-rope drop...

Let me correct a couple things. EE is usually Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Sat. You can pick one unless you are staying at one of the 3 resort hotels, then you can go each day, but will need your room charge slip. Areas open for EE is most of Fantasyland, but usually Storybook Canal and IASW don't open til later. In Tomorrowland, Space Mountain and Buzz are usually open. Autopia usually does not open til the park opens.

Okay, sorry for being so thick, but with our parkhoppers, do we just show up early for on an eo day and they let us in on that one day? Then our tickets will be exempt from eo days the rest of our stay?
    Thanks again,
    Amy

Pretty much correct, for example if the park officially opens at 9 AM, then I would arrive around 7:45 AM and look for the turnstiles with "Early Entry" signs over them. Get in line, at 8 AM, the turnstiles will open, they will take your ticket and stamp it with a special Early Entry stamp instead of the normal date stamp. This shows you used your Early Entry for the trip. You get your ParkHopper back. Then just head to Fantasyland and enjoy the Dark Rides, let me suggest you do Peter Pan and Dumbo first.

If you are staying at a hotel at the Resort, you might check to see if the Monorail is running. We enjoyed arriving by Monorail and really took advantage of our EE. Funny thing is we were going to get Fast Passes for Space, but it was even too early for that

Definitely do Fantasyland first!!! Next try to do Buzz.

Thanks so much for the info. We are staying on the property and will definitely take advantage of the multi-day early entry option. You all made my day

Right, fastpass machines don't activate til park opening.
