    Freaking Out [1br room]

During our trip in May my in laws will be on the pull out couch of a one bedroom. My fil gets up a lot in the night to use the washroom. Is it me or will he have to come into the bedroom to use the washroom?

    One bedroom where??

Pull out couches are really awful. You have that bar through your back all night. Do they know that? I cannot imagine that working out for someone older that 12....

    Good luck!

Working hard for that next WDW trip! December 2013

If you are talking about a 1BR villa at a DVC resort, I do believe there are 2 entrances to the bathroom, one from the living room (where the sofabed will be) and one from the bathroom.

The search function is like the Force. It may take practice, but the more you use it, the more control you will have over it!

Yes a one bedroom villa at OKW and Vero (10 nights). I hope it will not be an issue for them.

I also thought the pull outs were not so bad at Disney.

From personal experience, they are better than some places but it is still a sofabed, so it does not come close to the regular beds. Lets put it this way... they are better than the pull out sofas at the Embassy Suites at LBV.

You do not have to worry about your FIL coming into the bedroom to get to the bathroom. He can use the laundry entrance. Basically the room with the washer and dryer has a door to the main toilet and shower area. Just keep the door that separates the bathtub part of the bath room closed.

When you get in the room just do a dry run with him and your MIL and at night open the door to the laundry room and leave the light on.

I've experienced this on some pullouts, and I've slept on some that were just as good as a regular bed. It's kind of a crap shoot what you'll get. Here's hoping Disney has better pullouts than some of my relatives.
