Has anyone heard anything about when they're going to start the cinderella's castle giveaway? Have they released photos of the finished product yet? I haven't heard anything in awhile, and I know they said January was going to be the unveiling!

The Disney Insider online newsletter claimed to have a photo of the suite inside the castle, but it was just a computer generated image.
I recall seeing an actual photo of the construction somewhere, but I don't remember where it was. It's no big deal really because it was just a bunch of construction supplies and gave you no idea what it actually looked like.
As for when guests will actually start staying in it, I don't think even Disney knows the answer.
I saw a DW commercial last night that showed the room -- not detailed but it did show it.
I wish there was more info out there! Disney has made such a big deal out of this prize, you'd think they would be hyping it more! You know, making us all drool at the thought of being able to stay in the castle ... well, some of us are already doing that, I suppose
My guess is that the press event at the end of the month (that Mark talked about in the MouseStation Podcast) will introduce the suite to the press. It's actually the press event for the Year of a Million Dreams, so I'm thinking that makes sense.
The press event itinerary that I received says that (with limited availability) there will be press tours of the suite on Thursday, January 25. That evening, there will be a Dreams Come True Party featuring the Cinderella Castle Suite first family. Therefore, I feel pretty safe in saying that the first castle stay will be awarded on Thursday, January 25.

OK, if GMA's contest winner will be the first family, they'll use that synergy and, as I said, "the first castle stay will be awarded on Thursday, January 25." But that stay will be awarded to the GMA contest winner. The first stay awarded to a park guest will be awarded on Friday, January 26.
