With your help, next spring, we’ll open a
new exhibit, Wild About Otters, telling the
story about otters around the world and focusing
public attention on what we must do to save the
threatened California sea otter. I hope you’ll decide

People love our California sea otters and
they will surely fall in love with the two pairs of
African spotted-necked otters, Kamili and Kipenzi and
Denny and Neema. As an unexpected surprise, we’ll
also introduce you to Denny and Neema’s two new
pups—born here just a few weeks ago! We’ll also
welcome two sets of brothers, young Asian
small-clawed otters from Singapore—Satu, Dua, Tiga,
and Empat.

That’s a lot of personality for one new exhibit!

With otters worldwide in trouble, Wild About
Otters also has a serious side. The new exhibit
will be fun for kids and adults alike but, at the same time, it
will inspire thousands of people to take action to
protect these remarkable creatures—and their wild
habitats. The more people know, the more they will
act to save the animals.

we can continue our critical research and policy

programs that connect children to the wonders of the

Awesome! The otters are one of the most popular exhibits there. It's always packed around the tank at feeding time. It's good to see they're going to get an expanded exhibit and more funding to help with recovery efforts.
