Ok, I'm home after the event. It was warm, but not unbearable. It was fun, we did the Photo Open game. Got through maybe half. Some of those puzzles would take a week to do for the average person, IMHO. Yet the inventational with like 4x the difficulty, there were people that got it done in 2 hours less than we got our half of the event done. I don't know how they do it!
It was a great event, and the awards were nice in Festival Arena (This was the first time for me to see this)!
Some CMs were telling me that some gammers were being naughty though! Come on people, let's not spoil the fun!!
Boy, I'm beat. Time to go to bed!
Good night!

I am so tired! But we had fun!
Where in the Park was the picture of the two golfers? That one had us stumped!

Oh man, so exhausted. We had a blast though. I'll post a trip report later after I can feel my legs again....lol
Yet another Team Mouseplanet CHOC walker WHO MADE HER CONTRIBUTION GOAL! Thanks everyone!

Oswald Returns
As usual, the Mouse Planet staff put together an awesome event!
The Enchanted Race quests were so creative, challenging, and fun. It was great that we got to enjoy five or so attractions during the event! You guys rock! Would love to hear more about the puzzles from the PhotoAdventure. Will chat more about the Enchanted Race another day. Must get baby to bed...then pass out!!!

*I pinch*
I am back now, and soooooo completely drained. But, we had fun!
I was a newbie from only having one MA under my belt, teaching another newbie how to do things. We had a lot of fun though, and will be back next time!
Glad you all had fun, and can't wait to figure these ones out that we didn't get.
Can't wait to see what they come up with next!

We found the 2 golfers after we had turned in our game. It was actually an old arcade game on Main Street, in the building that has the ice cream and candy stores. It was sitting right next to the open door by the sidewalk area. Wish I'd gone that way during the game.

Wow, I am exhausted. I don't know whether it was all the running around, or just the weather.
I just wanted to say that the MousePlanet staff did an AWESOME job planning and preparing. Even though there's nothing official yet, I'm hoping our team did well!
BTW, I was part of the Club 33 Wannabe's! We had the Mickey on the black baseball tee's!

Premium Annual Passholder
It was a blast -- and it was tiring! A lot more difficult than our team, "It's All About ME! And Frank," expected. But when we reached the deadline, we answered all but one of the Quests and got a couple of EyeSpys, so we were pretty proud of ourselves. And yea to our Sudoku pitbull Holly for figuring it out!
But, we plan to be there again next time! Thanks to MousePlanet for all the fun.

Simba's Pride
I have a newfound respect for Captain Hook. I don't think I ever want to see another clock again!
What an incredible event though... so cool we got to go on so many attractions, none of which was Winnie the Pooh! We were so excited when we found out someone had to play Buzz Lightyear (Kevin is an excellent shot, which usually makes me mad when he beats me, but I was so glad for it yesterday!) So excited when we found the locker (TURN AROUND BUZZ!), LOVED the sun wheel challenge (and it explained why we saw the usually-friendly Shoshana RUNNING past us without even looking at us, she was going to get her umbrella.)
THANK YOU so much to all the MA staff, and a special thanks to AVP for being so patient with us in resolving the scoring / time penalties to be fair to everyone involved.

I'm so sorry
.... I PROMISE to be more watchful next time!
For those of you who wondered who was under that "3" -- it was me -- and sometimes my boyfriend, Adam....

Happily Haunting elsewhere
While I am walking like I'm 20 years older today I am definitely not as hobbled as in the last Enchanted Race.
To make things totally ironic, a group of us walked to Mimi's Cafe afterwards for food. Yup, right next to HoJos.
Things I learned:
1. My cheap nature, ie never getting a locker, can be a downfall.
2. You can take time penalties and still be (somewhat of) a contender.
3. Even at our 10th MA
we still hadn't learned that no matter how poorly you're doing, everyone else is doing poorly with you, and you need to keep the pace up. Let me repeat, NO MATTER HOW POORLY...
4. It's always possible to recover from setbacks and have fun with the puzzles. Besides, who can resist singing like the birdies sing, as long as you're sitting in air conditioning?
Thanks to all the staff, it's always obvious how much work goes into these things - I don't want your jobs.

Seriously. There were teams that would've placed IF they'd taken clock penalties.
That is really a key to the race strategy: penalties can help.

Hey there - First off -- my feet are so sore..I went to bed last night at 9pm. It was so much fun. I think the staff of Mouse Planet /Mouse Adventure did an awesome job. The event overall was so cool and organized....It was lots of fun.
So today (monday morning) my coworkers: Disney Dominears, Mickey's Angels and Drawn Together gathered into our manager's office (Aunt Kiki) and just talked and talked about the Mouse Adventure. Then our boss walked in. HEHE! So anyways...yeah I had so much fun. The weather was horrible tho....I'm proud of my team (johnx112, lizzydQ and kimmy) for sticking together and solving puzzles as best as we could...good team work. Some of my team didn't even eat lunch..>I had packed PB&J sandwiches...but we sure did drink all of our waters..... I just hope the rest of my team will be excited for the next Mouse Adventure....(keeping fingers crossed)...Aunt Kiki (Disney Dominears) and Team Drawn Together is ready to register for the one in April. HAHA!
Thanks again to Mouse Planet and Mouse Adventure Staffers....you guys rock!

Since even some of the most seasoned Sudoku players asked about this one... here's a tip for next time:
Turn the symbols into numbers and then change them back
And bring me food when you see me at the awards banquet -- you all thought I was kidding when I was checking your pink bracelets. (Yes, that was me in the Mary Poppins shirt).

Thank you to all
We (Team Zurg Busters) had so much fun yesterday. This was our first MA and we loved every minute of it. The puzzles so totally rocked! They were challenging, but workable.
The EyeSpy was fun, but it killed us turning in our card with two missing.
The Buzz challenge almost killed our members by making htem restrain from blasting EVERYTHING.
We are all sore and tired today, but can't wait for April. Thanks to everyone at mouseplanet for putting this on and thanks to all of the other teams. I can not remember having more fun in the park.

Photo event
The Photo Adventure was great! I only got eleven of the photos and was wondering if it is possible to see a list of where each photo was suppose to be taken.

Exhausted!!!!
Well I can safely say that all the members of the Lost Falls Expedition are very unproductive at work today! Our muscles are very sore and many new blisters reside on our feet. Got home late last night after returning to Nor Cal (where else is everybody from - love to know who traveled the furthest for this event!)
Now that the bitterness of not completing the Enchanted Race has passed and my head is clear (Now I remember how to do orienteering!!!!!) all I can say is THANKS to everyone who makes this happen. We had so much fun and despite the cruel tasks you put us through, we will be right back there in April!
Special thanks to Adrienne K for sharing her outstanding sweets with us on Saturday and also providing an encouraging word on Sunday when we were living up to our team name!
