Thumbs up Remember Fireworks Will Be Back In 2007

    Hello everyone,...

I was at Disneyland yesterday (Friday) for the halloween time press event.
I Asked promotion people and cast members that had a chance to be with us on air for the radio station that I work for, and of course that OFF AIR I had to make some questions and here are the answers.

1.- Is Remember Dreams Come True leaving with the 50th?
ANSWER: NO. Remember Dreams Come True Will be back in January . Julie Andrews will still be the host only the 50 part will be edited. So there will be Remember for all of 2007. (No such thing that in November 4 is the last presentation of Remember its being replaced for Believe in Holiday Magic but ONLY FOR THE HOLIDAYS. Remember Dreams Come True will come back early January 2007:O)

2.- Walt Disneys Parade Of Dreams is it leaving ?
NO. Walt Disneys Parade of Dreams will still be running in 2007.

3.- Are the crowns in Sleeping Beauty Castle staying on?
No. The crowns will be removed Saturday September 30th after midnight.
The castle will posibly be re-painted in January but not for sure.

"Hang on to those hats and glasses"!

Well, that is certainly good news if it is true. I absolutely love Remember and could watch it over and over and still get goosebumps and teary eyed.

That is great news, it's an awesome show and I'm sure there are going to be others doing the why don't we get something NEW....I love this one and won't be sad to see it a few more times before it glows away.

It certainly makes sense that they'd keep it around, the "wishes" part seems to go along with the "Million Dreams" theme they are currently pushing.

I wonder how they are going to edit out Julie Andrews, without the finished product seeming choppy, and overly clipped.

It seemed like Julie Andrews was an essential part of the presentation, at least at the introduction.

It's nice that they have the flexibility to switch back and forth from 'Believe' to 'Remember'.

It may have been nice to do that for last year's Holiday season.

I was very disappointed not to see 'Believe' last Holiday.

And to think it is this easy to just switch to 'Believe' for a couple of weeks, and then change back----would've made me very happy last year.

'Believe In Christmas Magic' will always be special for me; as it was the first fireworks presentation I'd seen after a 25 year absence from the Park!

Maybe they were smart and had her record the intro saying "50", "51", "52" all the way up to "100"...

Tell 'em to be careful out there in the dark. Somebody dented one of the peaks when the crowns got installed.

Most of this sounds about right, but the crowns coming off surprises me a bit. i thought they'd leave those up for a while...

OMG I can't believe this, wow dreams really DO come true lol

This is what I wrote on an old post called: "The beginning of the end (of the 50th)"

Okay now I'm a little bummed because I was confusing the Remember fireworks with Wishes.. it's Remember.. that has the fireworks for each classic ride, right? Whyy couldn't they keep this and just have Julie Andrews redo her narration

and it happened! woohoo lol sorry I really like this fireworks display and I was reaLLy sad to see it go, but now I'm happy

Disney for life! ...Literally, I'm going to retire as a cm.

It's not like Julie Andrews died or severed her ties with Disney. I'm sure she's available to record a new intro if Disney wants it (and is willing to pay for it).

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! I feared there would be a Pirates of a Caribbean parade or something.

Not that I don't like it, but it was like Pirates of the Caribbean Land this year.

I certainly hope hope this is what really happens. I dont always trust them. And yes, I'm still a little bitter that they sent me an email telling me that they would be celebrating the 50th for the entire year and then they ended it this week.

Hmm. I was in the park Friday, Saturday and yesterday (Sunday), and the castle crowns definitely were "ON" the castle. Maybe the removal has been delayed for some reason?

I was thinking that IF they are removing them, a weekday makes more sense, since they will have more time to remove them between closing and opening.
