Since I am one of the new guys, please bear with me if you have covered this before, and if you have point me in that direction. What about the "Hidden Walts", were are they??

If you're referring to Hidden Mickeys, there's a whole website about that: Click Here
I've never heard of a Hidden Walt.
Wasn't one of the pirates on POTC, by the well, modelled after Walt or is that an urban legend?
There's a Disney cartoon "Ferdinand the Bull" or something like that. One of the matadors is modelled after Walt.
I don't know about either of those...maybe someone else on the board who is more of a Disney trivia buff can tell you...BUT, one of the pirates in POTC is modelled after the famous comedian Sid Cesar, who was a good friend of Walt's. It is one of the pirates locked in the cell trying to get the key from the dog.Originally posted by Gemini Cricket

Somewhere on the walls of the Indy queue are (in Mara code) the initials WED. I can't remember if I ever found that, but if I did, I have no recolection where it is. There's actually another Walt in the Indy queue. This one is in the outside area. In the generator cage, there is a small Buddah statue. The face is Walt's.
In the queue for Indiana Jones, there is what looks like an eroded statue of Mara right inside the entrance to the temple. That face is supposed to be Walt's. It certainly doesn't look like Mara.

I heard that the "Hidden Walts", (not hidden Mickeys) are a part of the 100 year celebration and can be found on the floats is the four park parades. There are supposed to be 2 in each parade, the most known is on the Mickey Mouse Snow Globe Float in the MK parade"Share A Dream Come True"
I am trying to remember exactly where but I believe that walts image is etched into some glass over the cash register in the crystal shop in NOS. I am out of it right now but I know its there.
I think it's supposed to be Buddha. I have a picture of it on my Webshots website, here.Originally posted by lani

There is a famous picture of Walt standing next to one of the modelled heads used in PotC (and it looks very much like him). That head is used on in the dunking scene: there are three men tied up with ropes waiting to be dunked; the man on the far left has that modelled head.Originally posted by Gemini Cricket

I've always assumed that this was indeed Walt, and no one yet has disproven me....

Yep, you're correct, Techie7. The glass plate hangs over the cash register on the eastern wall. It's about 9-10 feet up.Originally posted by Techie7

Also at disneyland for the 100 years celebration (wooh hoo look at what we got
 ) they put some pictures of walt in the windows of the photo shop on Main Street.

Hidden Walts
OK, went to my source and here are the details. Go to "allears@allearsnet.com". There is a news letter that talks about the joy that parades at WDW bring. In the 8th or 9th paragraph the detail on "Hidden Walts" is given. Apparently every float in the 100 year parades at all 4 parks have Hidden Walts.Originally posted by Sheila

I thought of one:
In the Haunted Mansion, when you see the ballroom, when you are over the dancing couples. You can't really see them, you see their reflections so you could say it's a Hidden Waltz.
Hidden Waltz...
Hidden Walts
Get it?
hahaha...?
D'oh. I laugh alone.
You have it listed as "Buddha Walt '99", but this is NOT the statue I'm thinking of. It's the statue INSIDE the queue, right as you start walking indoors. The statue in your photo appears to be outdoors.Originally posted by AliKzam

Yeah, that photo is of the one I had mentioned, inside one of the displays in the outdoor portion of the queue.Originally posted by lani

Pardon me, lani, but the mustache and ever so slight sideburns are apparent, wouldn't you say?
I'll have to keep an eye out for the mustache on the Mara you are referring to.
Gemini, that was funny. I laugh, too.

refering to some very old Wonderful world of Disney tapes I have been able to confirm Walts likeness in both POC and HM. I don't know where in POC, but in WWD show they show walt standing next to his head. in the HM one of the four singing heads at the end of the graveyard scene is Walt.
haven't heard about "new" hidden Walts, but it doesn't seem to be in the style of Eisner.
Grateful for all God has done for me, and for having Wfoxx by my side.
That one bust you are thinking of isn't walt I belive, it really doesn't look like him either, now all we need is the actors.
