Paying for package with Disney Visa
For anyone who has taken advantage of the 6 month no interest- here is a question.
Do you have to pay in full when you make the reservation? If you only pay your deposit, does the 6 months start when you pay the deposit, or when you pay off the balance?

You only have to pay your deposit when you first firm up your reservation. And yes, I have received the 6 months 0% for the deposit on its own. Then when we paid the rest in full by the deadline, we got another 6 months at 0% on that balance as well. So, if you plan out your vaca a year in advance, then you could actually get 0% for 12 months. Just make sure that you watch your statement to see when your financed portion is due.
Also to let you know, I did make my ressies through Disney Travel. However, I learned recently that other Disney-authorized agencys can also trigger the 0% on the Disney Visa, sort of speak. Just check your statement carefully to make sure that everything is in order after you place your deposit. The special financing shows up at the bottom of the statement.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to post additional questions.
