Thread: Fastpasses as souvenirs?

    Fastpasses as souvieners?

Anyone else collect Fastpasses? I have plans for a complete set one day but in the meantime I have been putting aside certain ones. I have a Splash Mountain one encouraging the holder to visit the Country Bear Playhouse, right across from Splash Mountain.

    I miss the bears.....

I have a complete set of all currently available Fastpasses (and it's a small world holiday), including a Power of BLAST! ticket, which, while it does look like one, is not actually a Fastpass.

Speaking of which, I wonder how many ITTBAB and MuppetVision Fastpasses have actually been distributed seeing as neither ride needs it.

I snagged some unprinted ITTBAB tickets that were just sitting out on top of the machine, as if it the thing had run out of ink and the person just left them there. Pretty cool.

I have never kept any as a souvenir...other than my ones from Disneyland Paris...and we only needed one for Peter Pan over there. The other rides really didn't have any lines longer than 10 minutes or so.

One day I'll go around collecting Fastpasses. My goal is to have both a valid and invalid (i.e., already hold another pass) from each ride. But it could get out of control. For instance, when you get an invalid FP, it says, "You already hold a Fastpass for XXXX." I'd probably want to get an invalid FP for each ride while holding a valid one for every other ride. You can see how this can get exponentially obsessive.

Especially since you could conceivably already hold a Fastpass for XXXX and XXXX thanks to the two hour rule... You're right, my collection is no where near complete. I'd better start at it right away.

If you are going to be obsessive, may as well go for it.

Anyhoo, my 9 yr old Dtr had a great time running into all the FP areas we passed collecting the invalid FP tickets people leave behind. She ended up with quite a collection.

So, it's not collecting FP but friends of mine once raced to opposite sides of the park to see who could return with (invalid) fast passes first form a designated ride in that area.
