Mr. McFeely
My brother has cerebral palsy and has watched Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers his whole life. He is now 36. He went to see Mr. McFeely yesterday at Port Discovery. Mr. McFeeley spent a lot of time with him, he listened to two songs my brother sang for him, autographed his trolley, a picture, gave him a big hug and really was super sweet to him. My brother said, "This is the best day of his whole life." I just thought he was such a sweet man.

That is so great! Really wonderful and heart warming. I got misty, moisty eyes reading your post.
"Some people believe in the idea of soulmates. I don't believe such a thing exists. We need so many more people than one to complete us." ~ E. Dom

That is such a great story. Life goes by so fast, and we all get caught up in helter-skelter lives, placing importance to sometimes trivial things. An experience like yours comes along and slows us down, warms our hearts, and makes us appreciate the finer things in life, such as your brother's dreams. Thank you for sharing, you made my day.
