My first thought was "crap, not another unusually hot day."

But then I looked it up and found out that 80° is actually the average temperature for October 16. So it is just a normal day.

The record is 109° for October 16, though, so it isn't as bad as it could be.

Apparently Alex forgot to make arrangements to have the sun move closer to the earth that weekend.

MouseAdventure - Will this be a first, playing in the Rain?

    http://www.weather.com/activities/ho...27&from=search

    OK, Friday's forecast makes sense...

High of 90 degrees, MA and heat go together...

Saturday, High of 76, and some clouds... Sounds like nice weather for MA, especially in the evening when it will be cooler....

This is the one I am not looking forward to....

Sunday, Showers, and a high of just 68 degrees.

Well, the judges will have fun with all those wet pieces of paper, and smudged ink......

Rain or shine we play. Just be sure to bring an umbrella and/or a clear plastic cover for your papers so you can read them without them getting wet (you can find them at any office supply store). If we can't read your answers we can't give you credit.

Anyone who wishes to peform a Sun Dance is welcome to do so....

Well, that is quite a change of forecast from four days ago.

    It would be interesting.

Having been to many actual sundances, I can tell you what you need:

    • a leader - that would be Alex

    • a sacred place - Disneyland would do it for most of us

    • three days and nights without food or water - blech

    • a feast for after - Blue Bayou monte cristo, anyone?

I'm not one to look on the bright side, but I had a happy thought: maybe it will be less crowded if it's raining!

I'm not sure how to respond to that.

I agree that rain is preferable to heat. But then again I am a Nor Cal boy. Maybe a little shower will give my team even more of an advantage over the dumb-dumb girls!

Would that count as "most spirited"...?
Now different is nice, but it sure isn't pretty, pretty is what it's about
I never met anyone who was different who couldn't figure that out
But beautiful, I'd never live to see
But it was clear, if not to her, well, then to me.

Looks like my unwashed green t-shirt might run. Oopsie.
