Haunted Mansion Holiday 2005 - First Reports Anyone?

I'd be curios to know if anyone has gotten a chance to ride HMH yet and can tell us if there's anything new this year.

have not gone yet - but i CAN'T BELIEVE how much STUFF is for sale around NBC and HMH. Seems like they were planning on one more special event, then it got cancelled (thanks tim burton!! ), and so they are stuck with all of this stuff to sell.

What I'd really like to know is if they are using Soundtrack1 or Soundtrack2, and if any new tricks are in the mansion..

AND - edit - funny, but there is NOTHING on the public website about HMH or anything like that - except that in the calendar it says all attractions are operational.

What new stuff are you referring to? I'll admit that I don't pay that much attention to just NBC stuff, so while I know some stuff is new (fuzzy dice with Jackheads), the only HMH new item that we saw was the mini-doom buggie with Jack, Zero and pumpkins. I was actually disappointed that there wasn't more HMH stuff.
Now different is nice, but it sure isn't pretty, pretty is what it's about
I never met anyone who was different who couldn't figure that out
But beautiful, I'd never live to see
But it was clear, if not to her, well, then to me.

I was told that the HMH 2005 items (shirts, sweatshirts, etc.) won't be out until closer to Halloween...probably around 2 weeks or so.

But if you look at that stuff, it's all Nightmare related, not HMH - big difference. For the events the past 4 years, much of the merchandise has had a HMH tie-in, not just Nightmare. From all accounts, they've known for some time now that they wouldn't be doing an event, so I would expect they didn't go all out for the HMH merchandise like they've done in previous years.
