Mr. KABC to open Space Mtn

Radio station 790 KABC will have one of their radio personalities help open SPACE MOUNTAIN, Friday July 15.

Mr. KABC and April Winchell (whom you know as the daughter of Paul Winchell, i.e., the voice of Tigger) will be at Disneyland Friday July 15.

I know nothing but what I heard on the air, driving home Tuesday night, per his show.

I assume that someone will post a follow up to this thread, and fill in the details.

I looked up the calendar of events for DL.
Friday July 15 must be special indeed.

The PLAZA GARDENS will have a swing band on Friday, as well as the regular night, Saturday.

15 (Fri.) Swing Kings
16 (Sat.) Doc Anello & the Swing Machine

On the Club Buzz stage will be Papa Do Run Run (both nights), whom I do not even remember appearing at Club Buzz.
(If they have, it has been a long time, since I look up the entertainment before I go, and have never seen Papa Do Run Run listed.)

They were there all the time when it was called "Tomorrowland Terrace."
