Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk: First Laff of the Season on Friday, May 27

Join us for the "First Laff of the Season" on Friday, May 27 at 11 a.m.- it will be a real hoot! We've asked the historic, 1930s era, 6 ft. tall robotic redhead, Laffing Sal to kick-off our 98th summer season. You remember Sal, she greeted visitors to San Francisco's now defunct Playland-by-the-Beach park until 1972. Sal is part of a new historic tribute to the Pacific Coast seaside amusement parks and is located at the beach side entrance to Neptune's Kingdom. Now she'll be greeting all of you with her hilarious cackle all season long!
