Going tonight for just fireworks...?
We haven't made it to the "Remember" fireworks yet...I was thinking the family might go tonight just for that. How early do I need to get there? And, any tips on viewing spots or where to park it to watch? I have a 10 mo. old who is very easy going - if I bring snacks she's good in the stroller for awhile, and when she gets sleepy she'll fall asleep in the stroller. In the past when we've parked it to wait for a parade or show my husband and I just take turns waiting w/ the baby and the other walks around w/ our 3 yr. old.
OR maybe we could make it to the 7:45 parade...or parade and fireworks. Crazy idea? Or should we go for it?
(BTW I'm about 20 min. to the Mickey and Friends garage, so this is do-able.)

Scratch that. Husband decided he doesn't feel well enough to go tonight, plus, it's Survivor Finale.
Yes, I realize I'm talking to myself. Carry on...
(Although same question may apply to next weeken. LOL)

We got to our spot outside the hub in front of Plaza Inn at about 9:00 last night and it was a perfect spot! Great view of Tink and the castle, plus all the fireworks that will surround you. LOVE these fireworks!!

We took the boys to Disneyland all day yesterday and finally got a chance to see the fireworks. They just loved them (although my 4 year old covered his ears the entire time). The Star Wars music was the biggest hit of the whole show for them

AHH y'all are making me want to go!

I camped out around the Hub statue at around 7:00pm, waited past the parade and held my ground until the fireworks were over.
It worked, but it might help to make as many friends as possible to hold on to space.

I like Captian Josh says get there early and see the parade then hold your gound for the fireworks.

No need to get there more then 35 min early. Just stand right past the coke corner on main street. It was very easy to get a spot there about 30 min before and had an excellent view of everything. It is not necessary or worth it to get there 2 hours early just to get a spot by the partners statue and not even get a great view of all the fireworks going around you. The best thing you will see from that spot is the castle.
