I guess I haven't explored DL enough in the hundreds of times I've been there...What is the Little Red Wagon? And where is the Village Haus? Yes I know it's only a restroom refurb, but I have no clue where it is

The Village Haus is that restaurant next to Pinocchio's Daring Adventure (across from Casey Jr.'s Train). I believe the restroom being referred to is the one right near the entrance to Frontierland, right?

Yeah it's on the Big Thunder Trail. But that is interesting that they are going to reopen Sleeping Beauty's castle, or are they not refering to the "walkthrough" portion?

The little red wagon is the corn dog place just south of the Plaza Inn. And they are referring to the walkthrough portion of the castle. It was slated to open Jan 5. I guess not.... Personally I will be very surprised if the carousel opens in Feb. at all. With putting new benches in, a new canopy and a new control panel it was my understanding that it would be down till June.

    Whoa!

Perhaps they'll just block off that whole area ?
Most people enter Critter Country to ride Splash Mt. but if it's closed, what else is there ?

Does anyone know when Pirates and Space Mt go down for their rehabs ?

If they are going to do what I think they are going to do odds are they will wall everything off past the mansion exit, and close the doors on the viewing windows in the tunnel for the train, but I am not sure about the bridge.

Oh man.... they're probably going to rip up Critter Country and put in 100-acre wood. Ick, I won't be able to go near that end of the park again! (Well, okay, maybe... to ride splash....and eat at Hungry Bear... if I'm riding Splash...)

I am surprised that Disney woudl close big chunks of rides in one area. All the guests are gonna be crammed into one little area, trying to ride the five rides that aren't closed.

    Mooooooooo!

    And this surprises....who?

The mile long bar hasn't been open in years anyway, at least not that I've seen. The park needs more plush like Eisner needs more money, but that doesn't seem to stop either. Anyway, as long as it's tucked away in a corner of the park that I'm going to visit less of anyway (since my beloved CBJ is gone), they can put their plush there, at least I won't have to see it.

Nope, but since they want nostalgia they will have some of the logs moving through the shop, but "no toutchey".

Yeah, they're going to turn some of the logs up on one end and use them as display cases

Question: Mullholland Maddness is quite new for a 3 month rehab. When one looks at the structure itself, it looks quite temporary, or should I say easy to remove. Nothing is set ito a permenant foundation.

Is this closing possibly a removal of the ride? This mysteriously reeks of a "Rocket Rods" refurb, doesn't it?

    Anyone in the know?

Well, notice the timing. After the holidays, before spring break. This next few month stretch is DLRs low point in attendance. Won't be much cramming with a half empty park.

Thanks for posting this information, we were planning a trip for march and we're going to push it back a week so that we dont miss Splash Mtn.

Question, is there a place online where these type of things can be found regularly? If so what is the URL?

The refurbs are listed by day here. They're not always 100% carrect but they're pretty accurate. You need to select schedule and the day(s) that your interested in. The rehabs are listed at the bottom for each park listing.
