Living the dream!
February accountability thread
I just thought I would start a few hours early with my first NSV in a looooong time
The girls earned coupons for Coldstone Creamery for reading five books. I elected to let DH take them tonight because I know if I am anywhere near ice cream tonight, it will be all over. I know my limitations.

LOL! how about an Arse and belly that runs ahead of me ha ha ha , I am so fat that if I drop 50 pounds it does not look it, it has a mind if its own I swear!!
If I would have kept dieting when I stopped in August I would be down to normal, nooooo I had to eat and eat til I gained about 35 to 40 pounds back. Gosh I need a kick in the butt! Oh but wait, if Some one does that they may never see there foot again

My family best not bring any ice cream home

WOW, Renta! I don't think I would have had the willpower to send hubby to Cold Stone alone! Good for you. (or maybe they brought you back some sorbet, in which case~good for you!)
I loooooove their sorbet. Yum.
::shaking self out of a sugar slump::
I had an unusually off-plan weekend. I don't normally follow the plan very closely on the weekends, but this weekend was another story. I think I noshed my way through it!
I visited a friend on Sat. who is an amazing cook. We had homemade soup, homemade muffins, and salad with avocado and olives. Yummy. Then, some wine. Oh, yeah, and some chocolate kisses while chatting.
Sat. night, I made homemade pizza for Mr kisroo. And we shared a packet of red licorice while watching a movie. Later, I had a tootsie roll!
Not to mention the dangerously delish drinks Mr kisroo got me.
Sooooooo~today, it was back OP for me! I didn't even eat all my activity pts today. Of course, I probably ate through those and more on Sat. alone!
Sounds like everyone is doing ok. Karla~way to go! 6 lbs~wow!
Thanks for the thread, Renta. It's keeping me honest! OK...mostly honest.
Have a healthy Tuesday everyone!

Just checking in here. My plan for February is...ride more.
OK, so I won't be riding for four days (see below), but the rest of the month I promise to be good.
A side note: since I had to stop eating red meat (and that means not having it at home), the DW has realized she doesn't really miss it. We even had soy meat balls on our spaghetti, and she liked them!
Weight wise, I'm about the same (165), and that's ok, given my activity level. As I increase the miles, I'll probably lose a few pounds if I don't increase my eating. Hey, it could happen!
Last Disneyland trip:
July 22-24
8135 miles on the bike in 2007
2008: last ride
66 miles,
1734 miles total
-
Do you think we should have beginning of the month weigh-in, or is that just asking for too much information?

I'm 6 inches taller and weigh more: 5-7, 165. Feel better now?
The bikes weigh between 18 and 25.5 pounds.

No worries, Renta.
I am the exact same size as Kisroo (well, usually, not right now.
) And I am here to tell you that women that size still get cellulite. There is still ample butt and thigh jiggliness (word, no?) as well.

I don't weigh less than you silly girl. I said, I'm happier at 130. Not that I weigh 130 right now. Besides, I'm reminded every so often that it t'wasn't always so for me. I lost 30 pounds with WW. It took over a year. You can do it, too. You have WAAAAAY less than 30 lbs to lose.
And, like I said, pounds look vastly different on everyone. Anyways~after WW and everything, you'll be runnin' circles around me, girlie!
Ms. Skinny pants.
pssstttt...I also haven't had children...that makes a huge difference, IMHO.

Uh. Yeah. AMPLE jiggliness goin' on over here. Hence, the strength training. And, the staying away from tootsie rolls.

Hey, help me solve a disagreement between my Darling Husband and I.
What is a "Pear Shaped" woman?
I always though it was small waist, big hips and butt.
He says it's big wasit, small legs and butt.

Quick, Emma~go bet him a nice dinner. You're right!!! He's describing an apple shape. I am what they call "hour-glass". They make it sound so nice. Whatever.
To me, it means, it doesn't matter what you weigh, your butt and thighs are here to stay!

Ooh, I'm going to start using "hour-glass" instead of "pear shaped" It sounds so much nicer.
::sigh:: Just call me Bubble Butt.

good morning all!! I lost another pound today, of course at my weight ( no I will never say what I weigh but if you see a fat gal at disney its me! ) feeling good though!
-
I have no qualms about posting loss or gain
I'm not brave enough to post totals yet though.
133 yenta? I remember that one...waved good-bye to it once or twice
I was good yesterday too...stayed OP and then some. Still juggling what to do about the exercise though, trying to do anything at home is impossible and this is a bad time of year to go out for a walk when you've got hay fever. I've just about settled on the YMCA though, I'm thinking the whole family can get some use from that.

TLMt, I know that you are at least 6" taller than I am so please picture me as a short, round, Elaine Bennis look alike/act alike
I vote for the Y.
I can tell you that 3 c-sections didn't do my body any favors.
I look and feel my best at 110. To be 105 I might lob off an arm
I am proud of us all for doing our best.
Thanks to Bill for closing Jan. thread and pointing us here

Hour-glass isn't really the same thing as pear-shaped. Hour-glass has the added bonus of a large chest. Pear-shaped has a small chest. It's all in the ratios.
So if we're starting off February with a weigh-in, yesterday I weighed 203. Pretty much the same weight as I left off a couple weeks ago when I pretty much stopped working out. That's my thing. I can workout and eat junk and not gain or lose weight. Or I can not workout and eat right and not gain or lose weight. If I want to lose fat or gain muscle I have to do both.
Take my love. Take my land.

I don't care, I'm still free.
