MGM Studios Millionaire show
Last time my family and I played "millionaire," I was the top score on the board after the contestant missed his question, but the buzzer rang, and I didn't get to play!!
Next time we went, they changed the timing so that there were not continuous shows, but show times which we could not go to. So, when we go down next week, I am determined to get in that hot seat! Question...does anyone know what time are the shows scheduled for?

I'd just started reading Sheri's trip report on the front page and saw this link: http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/index.htm Steve's got all the current schedules there -- not positive when it's updated (it probably says on there) but it's probably your best bet for finding out the schedule before you leave.
Good luck - it's lots of fun in the hot seat!

Steve's site is updated every Sunday morning. It's a great resource for seeing what is going to be there for your trip. I visit it every week just to get a little dose of Disney.

Hey you guys...thanks so much for the input...Steve's site is great for advance planning!!!
4 days and counting!

I was in the Hot Seat on our visit last Feb. I was 2 questions away from a Disney Cruise. I totally choked. The question was where is the National Aviation Museum located and I chose Kittyhawk NC. It was Dayton OH. Who knew!
It is a very fun show though. Good Luck to you! Have a great vacation.

I was at about the same spot. I think that it was the $250,000 question. But I got a question about some book about some author's grandfather. I didn't have a clue, and well, neither did the audience, because I left with a hat, a shirt, and pins going up to $32,000

Ohio's license plates have their motto - "Birthplace of Aviation". I only know that because my son and his family live there. Extremely, trivial, I know.
Last time at Disney World, I saw our friend's son, who is a junior in high school, get into the hot seat. Great time. For the very next show, guess who was at the top of the leader board again? Yep, same darn kid! He had to decline, of course. Then I found out he was up there twice more in the next couple of days. I think that's a record.

Boo425 - the same thing happened to me. I'm still upset. I was going to dig my heals in and make them drag me out kicking and screaming!! I've never been able to do it again.
Justclem - I was surprised - I actually knew the answer to that one. We stopped at the Wright/Patterson Airforce Base Museum in Dayton on one of our trips and I've never seen so many airplanes. It's a great place to visit. Other than that I would never have known either. Isn't it so much easier when you are just a spectator?
-
Barb45, You are absolutely right about it being easier being a spectator!
jerm - I, too, asked to audience for help on a question about the fisrt woman in space. I had an idea who it was but I just wanted to make sure bc it was the 32,000 question. The audience said 85% that it was Sally Ride! I knew that she was the first american woman but not the first woman in the world to go into space so I went against the audience and they thought I was gonna get it wrong but I was right! lol
In my opinion it is too stressful. I can't imagine being on the real show!

I know the feeling!!! At the very least, they should let you play the next show without having to wait in line again! Oh well...maybe this time will be better!

Before I got in the hot seat, I wouldn't have believed you. But I was a wreck while I was there. And I had to stretch it over two shows, so I was a wreck while I was waiting for the next show to start as well.
