Specials for Florida Residents (Residency enforcement)

    Hello,

I was wondering how strict the Walt Disney World Resort is in checking for Florida residency for their special deals. For example, I'm here in Florida for the next few months, but I'm originally from California. If I wanted to get the special $109 four-day pass for Florida Residents, would they need to check for a Florida ID? Or would they be content with just hearing that I'm from the 33132 zip code? I'm a student scraping to get by but finally in Florida and excited about visiting WDW for the first time, and any savings would help enormously.

    Thanks!

If they're anything like DL is here in So. Cal, they'll want to see a driver's license or other form of identification with an address on it.

Do you have a utility bill with your Florida address on it? You can show that as proof you reside in the state.

You can go to the DMV and get a Florida Identity Card which I have been told, along with a utility bill in your name, you can get the FL resident deals.

You have to have either a Florida drivers license or a utility bill with your name and a florida address. If you are going to be here in Florida for a few months do you have an address you can claim as a resident? If so - I would spend the 20 dollars and switch my license over to a FL one.
