QuikQuote: Disneyland on Wednesday reopened its Big Thunder Mountain Railroad roller coaster, which crashed last September, killing one man. The coaster, which looks like a train, partially derailed when the locomotive broke free from cars in tow. An investigation by state safety regulators later blamed the derailment on faulty maintenance.
State safety regulators approved the ride as ready for service after an inspection this week, and the first coaster pulled out of the station at about 3 p.m. PST on Wednesday.
