Fantasmic inspired food and beverages at Disneyland

Saw this article on the Disney Parks Blog today. I'm going to have to make some decisions on what I'm eating on July 17.

The lobster mac and cheese hot dog and sour watermelon churro are what got my immediate attention.
Please don't ask me how I feel, I feel fine.
Oh I cry a bit, I don't sleep too good, but I'm fine

Pancake, pancake, pancake, pancake, pancake, pancake, pancake, pancake, pancake...

The lavender sparkler drink sounds interesting.

Im glad a new version of the blueberry pie (with what looks like whole blueberries) is back. I am surprised that there will be nachos from a cart (it seems that's what the story said). Nacho's are usually a little messy to carry with you. An open platter plate is usually not good. I wonder if they will use the large boats similar to the nachos at Knowhere Eats across the street.

I had one of the mac & cheese dogs, and while it was tasty, it basically tasted like a hot dog with some mac & cheese on top. Don't recall whether there was any lobster in there or not.

Tried the Sour Watermelon churro while waiting for Fantasmic! on 7/17... Not my cup of tea. Want to try the Smores next weekend.

    Planning 3 trips at once...

I had the beignets. There was as much purple sugar as you see on one in the photo in the whole bag. They were also about half that size, very thin and completely deflated on top of that. I wasn't impressed.

I'm don't usually get funnel cake, but I think I'll try that one next.

I tried the s'mores churro yesterday. I'm not a big churro fan tho'. It was okay. My churro was harder than I expected. Not sure if it was over cooked or that's how the graham cracker churro normally is.
