    Nacho Challenge at Pecos Bill's

Anyone seen this before? My wife sent me over an article about it this morning. Apparently it is a secret menu item that you can order between 3pm-6pm. It is a gigantic plate of nachos. You get unlimited soft drinks, each person gets a pie tin and silverware. They take you over to a reserved table to try to tackle this mountain of nachos. You also get a certificate, cowboy hats and badges. Looks like the cost is $90. But with an AP, its only $72.

I had never heard of this until today. Anyone else heard of this, or even tried this?

Disneyland will always be home, but WDW is starting to win me over.

For one or two people, no way. But if you have a group of like 5 or 6 people, that is only $15 or so per person. I think that it would be fun to try.

I think she and I saw the same article.
For 5 people with the AP discount it works out to about $14pp. That isn't bad for dinner and the article said they got unlimited soft drinks and a box of churros to go.

This may be the leverage I need to get my kids to go back to WDW! They've never met a plate of nachos they didn't demolish!!

3 kinds of meat. Chicken, barbacoa beef, and I think the ground beef. The article writer got all of the fixings on the side. I'll go look for it.
Pictures included. In looking for it another article said it was 10 pounds of nachos.

So with an AP discount, only $7.20/lb - cheaper than regular nachos....totally worth it for a hungry group.

Next time we go in a good sized group I want to try it. As others have said.. divided among a few people, the price is reasonable.. especially since the drinks are included.. This is the first I've heard about the churros being included, that is an added bonus if it is true..

The DFB has a video about it. It looks like a lot of fun.
