I just read that the Liberty Tree Tavern has changed their menu and they no longer have Pot Roast!
I'm canceling my reservation! I was so looking forward to the pot roast!
I can hear Joey screaming about this now!

I'm so sorry. I know what it's like to be looking forward to a special meal and then it's not there.
However, I can highly, highly recommend the turkey meal! I often have it for lunch and it is oh, so good.

Thank you....I may still do that. I'm going back and forth about canceling my reservation.

I just saw on All Ears about adding the dinner buffet at lunch, but it didn't say that they were changing the menu. I'm not entirely sure if they really are changing the menu or not. If would be a great loss to lose that pot roast - I just had it a few weeks ago for the first time and it was amazing!

I have an update - we kept our reservation and had lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern last week. The pot roast is no longer on the menu . However, the all you care to eat lunch included prime rib, turkey, and pork roast. It was an excellent lunch. And the ooey gooey toffee cake was awesome!

Thanks so much for the update! I'll be there in January for lunch.

I read a review this morning that said that the pot roast is on the children's menu, and you could order either a child's portion or an adult's portion. The reviewer had the sense that people were pretty cheesed off about the pot roast coming off the menu, and this was kind of a way around for those who absolutely had to have it!

Hmmm, now I may have to move Liberty Tree Tavern to a lunch ADR. The buffet sounds delicious!
Maybe if there is enough of a revolt they will add the pot roast back. I can see it now, waves of Disney fans waving pot roasts in the sky as they march on the Liberty Tree Tavern from all corners of the park.
GIVE ME POT ROAST! OR GIVE ME SECONDS!
Greatness just can't be kept down. The Pot Roast at Liberty Tree Tavern has always been one of the most amazing lunches on WDW property (or anywhere, for that matter). Some disheartening news from the Fall indicated it had been removed from the lunch menu but might still be available when the adjoining facility was open, as the two share a kitchen. Well, your wishes are granted and it's back on the menu where it belongs!

Hooray! Hooray! Thanks so much for posting this update!!!!
Great to hear! I ate there just before the big change, and was lamenting not being able to have the same experience any more. Nice to see Disney considering the public's wishes!

You've got that right my friend! Now what facility on property can we get to master the perfect meat loaf...
Sounds like a job for 50's Prime Time Cafe!

Yeah buddy! We ate there and had the Mom's Favorites (I think) and it was good, but LTT has the crown on the pot roast. It's funny, I have friends who eschew food without a bunch of spicy stuff added, and can't seem to appreciate the complex interactions of meat, its own grease, etc. of 'plain' food. Even more who don't appreciate meat loaf or the simple delight of a perfect pan-fried pork chop.

"Although we think it's DOPEY that Pluto has been downgraded to a dwarf planet, which has made some people GRUMPY and others just SLEEPY, we are not BASHFUL in saying we would be HAPPY if Disney's Pluto would join us as an 8th dwarf. We think this is just what the DOC ordered and is nothing to SNEEZE at."
Nah - I LOVE a good meat loaf!!!
