Never mind ~ I'm thinking of someone else from our area who is going to WDW for the first time! I'm getting old...

Lovely report, thank you for taking the time to write & post this. You are certainly showing signs of weight loss, well done you for sticking it out!

Hey. Speaking of me, do you want a Star Wars gift card for your collection? I had enough points I ordered 3 before our trip from DMR. It has a red lightsaber up the middle with Kylo large and mostly centered, Rey and the rebels on the left of the card and the First Order on the right. It's empty.
I am so not a writer, but am considering a list of observations we all had from one park to another.

Yes please ~ I would LOVE it (both the gift card AND the list of observations)!

Great trip report. However, I was a bit concerned about the amount of diet coke mentioned. My doctor is DEATH on diet drinks unless they are made with Stevia. He says the chemicals in them cause so much more harm than you can imagine and refuses to let me drink them. He said tht they are so dangerous that he would rather i drink a "throwback" soda (made with real sugar), than anything diet. (I'm working on losing weight too.) However, Coke has a new product Coke Life. It is made with Stevia and a small amount of sugar. He says that if I must have a soft drink...then this is the one he recommends. I also drink a lot of sparkling flavored waters. i find that it is the carbonation that I actually crave, not the soda itself. Hope it's ok to pass this along. Just worried after being so strongly warned about the dangers of diet soda.

Unless you are using the plant (I have a friend that does, and you can buy ground Stevia) it is processed just as much as other sweeteners and just as bad for you.

No worries; I've heard all of the stuff about artificial sweeteners...in fact, Kaiser would prefer that we don't drink any type of soda, but it was OK if we already drank diet soda to continue to do so. I limit it on most days & usually don't drink it at home; however, it WAS vacation & it helps satisfy my sweet tooth!
