I cannot wait to read about your family's trip and reactions.

You know, the one thing that always bothers me about us using nom de plume's is that you are never sure, other than the nickname, how to address the person you are corresponding with.

Carol...you have to buy a $150 Best Buy eGift card first, which will also give you the $15 bonus certificate. Then you take that $150 eGift Card that you print out into the Best Buy store and use it to buy the Disney gift cards.

Made 3 phone calls today. Best Buy in Folsom does not carry the Disney Gift Cards. So...I could not use that awesome deal that Pam had suggested. The other two phone calls were to Wolfgang Puck Grande Cafe and Espress in Downtown Disney Market Place in Orlando. I found out they do take the Costco Wolfgang Puck Gift Cards. We decided to purchase one pack of 2 $50.00 cards for 79.99. My family thought that eating dinner the day we arrive and a lunch on another day would be great. This will help us save us more money on our food.

Update: We are getting close to the 30 day mark. We are 300.00 away from our food budget. Our Disney Visa redemption cards are going to be reloaded before we go. At that time we should have close to another 200.00. So our budget of $1,200.00 for food has not cost that actual amount. This weekend we did purchase 2 packs of the 150.00 Disney Gift Cards at Sams Club. Of course it was less. Anyway I can save money for our family trip is a given for us.

Day #1 Aug 17. We had to get up at 11 pm on the 16th in order to drive to San Francisco for out 5:35 flight. We were tired and the kids 12 and 14, refused to sleep in the car. Too much excitement. Our flights overall were on time and a little bumpy. I drank some Peppermint water and no issues were encountered.

Arrived at Pop Century, checked in quickly. Our room is by the lake in the 60'section, 4th floor. Just beautiful is our view and quiet. Room is clean and the overall ambience is perfect for us.

After we arrived at our room, our family unpacked the items in our backpacks. We ate dinner at the Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney. Really good food. We used our gift card from Costco. The hubby and my son ate the chicken tenders, I had the turkey Cobb salad and my daughter ate the meatball pizza.

We took a look at the kitchen shoppe and pin traders. Since it had been a very long day, we boarded the shuttle back to Pop for the rest of the evening.

Due to where our room is, we did catch some of the fireworks from Epcot. Loving our trip!

We decided to change tower of terror to Littler Mermaid ( do to the faCT we walked onto terror first thing). We did ride star tours 3 times this day. Twice our son was picked as the Rebel spy. Watched the Frozen fireworks and show. It was fun. We may go back to this park Monday for a second time.

We ate at Catalina Eddies for lunch ( it was good overall). Dinner was at Pop Century, huge helpings of food.

Day 3 and 4. Our second park was the animal kingdom. Enjoyed roller coaster, Kilimanjaro, Kali River. I did like the animals which we were able to see. Otherwise it was hot and only stayed half a day. Day #4 spent pa re t f arty at the Magic Kingdom. Used our fastpasses on haunted manaion, Mine, and Big Thunder. We were able to hit the Country Bear, Tiki, and a few others before we left back to the hotel for lunch. Rooks naps than went back to a ring rest of the wvening. Perfect for us, we had our ponchos.

Days 5,6,7,8. Theses were spent at Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Overall crowds were not too bad. We enjoyed using the magic band with no problems. They were comfortable and nonproblematic. We did take afternoon breaks back at the hotel. Then going back after dinner. The fireworks showshow were amazing at MK, HS and Epcot. My kids were totally amazed how much bigger the shows were.
