We are pleased to announce that Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire has been selected as the featured charity for MouseAdventure Ready Player One.
The mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation is to "grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy."
One of the most-requested wishes is a trip to Disneyland or Walt Disney World. Each child granted a travel wish receives a backpack filled with supplies for their adventure. The Make-A-Wish Foundation has an ongoing need for backpacks for children ages 2-1/2 through 18 years old.
We're asking MouseAdventure players to help (Back)pack up some Magic by donating new or like-new backpacks at MouseAdventure - Ready Player One. The Foundation tells us that younger children love backacks featuring Disney characters and princesses, Pixar, Marvel or Star Wars characters, while older children prefer undecorated bags that they can personalize themselves.
Well collect the backpacks at sign-in, and deliver them to the Irvine office of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where they will be distributed to their client children. Thank you for your support!
P.S. If you are an Amazon Prime member, there are dozens of full-size backpacks available for less than $10 with free shipping, both in Disney and non-Disney designs.
