We prefer to rent from Deckert's. 714-542-5607.

There is also a scooter rental place by the Ramada Main Gate.

I think Toocherie rents from OC Medical. I don't have their number.

What Mal said. The only way to go to both the parks and hotels and DtD is to rent offsite. I believe I have read here, that some of the hotels' bell services will hold the scooter overnight for you and charge it.

I'm here now and was going to throw this into another post, but since it came up I will share in this post since it relates. When I was booking I called derkerts which I rented before and was very good. But really did not have any discounts, and we will be going a lot this year. So I kept calling. I found scooters for less and asked the man what kind of discount I could get because we need one EVC for at least 15 days, and maybe even two. He gave us and I now see it on his web sight, an AP deal. Pay up front for 12 days, you can add more as long as you give him a 30 day notice so we will add more in a few months. The EVC comes out to only $25 a day this way.

I was nervous about this because he did not have great reviews, but I will say all the bad reviews are people getting w/c serviced not renting. My chair was at the hotel by 7:15 am when we checked in, even thou he said he could not promise it to 7:30 am because his driver does not start until then. The chair has worked great and was fully charged and holds a charge really well, even driving it from hotel RI on clementine to the park and back and all over the park it still was fully charged at night. So for anyone who goes a lot and looking for a deal, you can he said go for only 6 days and rent two chairs for this price, with notice. Hope it helps someone.

Weird about Deckert's. They do have rates based on how many days you are there. I go 2 weeks at Christmas and it is $210, which breaks down to $15 a day. My last trip was Jan 13-19. I paid $128. That works out to $21.33. But more important to me is their customer service.

I'm glad your place worked out.

I don't know about derkerts, not saying they are bad don't take me wrong. We went I. Aug and with me with Cancer needed a EVC, it was $240 for 6 days. That's about $40.This time when I called he said it was $40, I asked if there was any discount he said no that is the discount and he won't charge me for pick up and drop off. I checked around a bit, and then called him back, he said $50 a night, when I told him my name he said oh return customer, so he remembers his costumes which I always appreciate, then he said $40 a night and no charge for pick up and drop off. That would have been $120, next trip would be $240 again, that to me is not a great price. The next three trips we may end up needing two EVC, so I figured $25 was the best I could do. It did work out great for me, next year I will try around again to see who gives the best deal. As you say it sometimes is not the best deal it is the customer service, to me I got good for customer service is a good price.
