First Look: Frozen Holiday Wish at the Magic Kingdom

I had the opportunity to be at the Magic Kingdom tonight for the debut of the new Frozen Holiday Wish Castle lighting show, and wanted to share some photos of Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff.

It's a pretty simple show, but it's well done. Anna, Elsa and Kristoff appear in front of Cinderella Castle, and chatter for a bit about how lovely and wonderful it all is. When Anna notices the audience, Elsa says they're the village townspeople.

They look for Olaf, who Kristoff says was "right behind them." He first appears as a puppet on the balcony of the castle, but then decides to come down to stage level. The walk-around character is a bit different than seen before, and is taller than all but Kristoff.

Anna says the castle needs a little wintery snow and ice, but Elsa says that they're just visiting and need to be respectful of the village. Anna convinces her that the villagers would enjoy it, and she should use her "frozen fractally powers" to decorate the castle. Elsa agrees to do so only with the help of the villagers.

With the use of projections, pyrotechnics and a heck of a lot of twinkle lights, Elsa decorates the castle, and they all lived happily ever after.

    Hope you enjoy!

Ooh, I can't wait to see the lights on the castle! Bought a new camera for this trip too. Like I needed one. But hey, you only get to go to WDW a few times a year, right Dan?

Lovely. Olaf is a bit massive though!!!!

Olaf is big, but so are Chip and Dale, so that's not my biggest complaint. The arms look all wrong. It's so obviously a person wearing brown sleeves. They should be more stick-like to blend better with the rest of the look.

And how are you going to find an actor with stick-like arms?
