Are there connecting rooms at Port Orleans Riverside? We have 4 adults and 2 kids, so we need two rooms. We'd like connecting if possible. We've never stayed here before.

I believe there is. We've stayed there a handful of times, and while we never needed two rooms I specifically recall there being a door to the next room during a few of our stays.
Have you called reservations at Disney to inquire?
I know for a fact there are at French Quarter - so I can't imagine there wouldn't be at Riverside.
Because you have 4 adults, they probably aren't going to be able to guarantee it - but even adjoining isn't bad there - you have to make 2 steps outside, for most adjoinings, I believe.

They definitely have rooms with connecting doors at POR, but if you have more than one adult with the children in the party they won't guarantee you will get them.

If you want a really detailed accounting of what types of rooms are available at Riverside, I recommend this website: http://www.portorleans.org/ They also have good instructions on how to ask for certain types of rooms.

Lovely resort! I think there are too, but like others, am not 100% sure. The website mentioned above is a very comprehensive site.
Working hard for that next WDW trip!
