Very sorry to hear about the foot issues. Wish they would improve for you.

Expect the price to be at least $70 which is what the 5k was in 2014.

Awesome. Got you on the list. We'll recheck everyone once registration officially opens on Feb 10th (and early AP as well).

Pricing went up. I can't remember if the 5k was a $5 or $10 increase.

    Color me surprised.

The runDisney CMs couldn't confirm this morning the official AP/DVC early registration date. It's either January 27th or February 3rd. Not seeing it up on the AP site yet either.

They also could not confirm the news we were given at Avengers that Disneyland Legacy participants would receive an email with a reserved spot for them in the Disneyland Half. Guess we'll watch email and see what happens.

10th anniversary medals are supposed to be out on display at the Tinker Bell expo. Can't wait to see them!

Anyone else find it odd that runDisney has posted race prices for the 2016 WDW Marathon Weekend (which doesn't come up for registration until late April) but Disneyland (registration opens February 10th), Wine & Dine (opens early March), and Avengers (opens early April) are still TBD?

I have had pricing for months. I'm out of town most of the day but I can share later when I'm back at my laptop.

I am TENTATIVELY planning to go for Dumbo to get my Coast to Coast! It may likely be a training weekend for my first full in October if I pull the trigger on that one, but I'm going to wait a couple of months on that part of the decision. Crossing my fingers that I can get in during DVC registration to avoid the regular registration frenzy.

    We won't need tiered pricing.

Except for poor Goofy and perhaps Tinker, those days seem to be gone.

I really wish they would reveal the theming for the 10K medal and shirts in advance. The Alice medal in 2013 didn't thrill me, but I was kicking myself for not registering when the Stitch was revealed.

I am wavering between the half, the DDD and saving the money all together. I guess I'll think about it for the next 10 days until AP registration opens!

I keep saying I'm going to back off from RunDisney events, but the idea of NEW bling keeps coming up. The 10th anniversary medal is calling me.

Doc is considering Dumbo Dare. So far this year, he's done Goofy & Rebel Challenge - and he's registered for Pixie Challenge. So now he's feeling like he wants to do ALL the Disneyland Challenges this year and rack up the bling.

I asked him if that means he'll end up doing the Avengers Challenge, if they bump that one to a third event, too. Then I rolled my eyes.

What if they add a challenge to W&D? (I think avengers is much more likely, though)

I might do the 10K again. Haven't decided yet. Now that there are other half marathon options with courses I prefer, I doubt I'll do this half again.

Avengers added an extra day in 2015 so fingers crossed for a challenge or at least a 10k.

I'm in for the 10K! (I don't think I'll be able to handle the heat for the half). Family members are pending. We may all do the 5K together (DH, DS, DD, and me). Maybe DS with me on the 10K.

I had fun just cheering at the Star Wars 5K, but running the 5K may be my only opportunity to get photos with characters on the course (I'm too slow to stop and wait 15-20 minutes in line during the 10K). So, I'd like to run both. (It's my own mini-challenge...maybe I'll make my own medal for doing the 5K and 10K, lol!)

Only downside to all these challenges is it moves the 5k (advertised as a family fun run 5k) to Friday which is tough for kids in school.

Pricing is up on the runDisney site for the 2015 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend. I've added the info to the first post in the Forum.

And this was a new addition to the runDisney registration site. If APs, etc didn't previously know they could snag early registration, they do now! Expecting even more chaos next Tuesday when early registration opens.

    Early Registration Opportunities

Select early registration opportunities are available two weeks prior to the official registration opening date for each race weekend.

He's already not doing Glass Slipper at Princess so WDW would be impossible anyway.
