Thread: Mini Team Scoobydooby do Disney 2014!

Hey, Scooby. I just started reading your trip report but I wanted to quickly pop down here and say how sorry I am to hear about the loss of your dad. Having just gone through that myself last year, I can truly sympathize with how physically, emotionally, and mentally taxing that is. I hope time is patching up some of those darker times for you.

Thanks Robin. I'm okay thanks and my mum is getting there, slowly.

What a delightful trip report! I loved every bit of it. (And you have my sympathy about your Dad. I still miss mine. :-( ) Thanks, too, for your wonderful "food porn" pix! Mmmm.... Can't wait to read your next trip report after your upcoming trip. I've never been to Universal, but from what I've heard it's best to stay on property for the front-of-the-line perks.

Loved your trip report. I love your daughter's spirit- Way to tell off the tantrum throwing boy in the bus! Sorry to hear about your Dad, and I am glad you took the trip you needed. I went to Disneyland several times the year my mom was dying and after she passed nothing like Disney to keep us above the emotional water in those times.

Thanks for reading and enjoying Jan. we haven't been to Universal for a few years and have never stayed on property there. The children especially are really looking forward to this. The front of line passes are a great perk. First time in club level for us too!

Well that was just wonderful! You know how much I appreciate a parent/kid one-on-one trip. My favorite line was the when your daughter told that brat that if she behaved like he did, she wouldn't have a magic band. I roared with laughter as did both of my boys (read it to them). Sorry about your father's passing. I think this full-on memory buster will be just what you needed.

    Cheers!

Working hard for that next WDW trip!

Thanks for reading Tina, glad you enjoyed it. I was really worried about leaving one child behind but he was okay and much preferred his father/son skiing trip truth be told. And yes. My daughter has her comical moments!
