I just booked an October Disneyland trip—it'll be our first Mickey's Halloween Party! Super excited to see all the seasonal decor, the Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy overlay (presumably), and the Haunted Mansion.

    WDW: MK ’74, MK/EC/MGM ’90, EC ’93, MK/TL ’94, MK/EC/MGM ’98, and WDW (BC) ’19, WDW (BC) ’21, WDW (WL) ’22

25 days until we surprise our boys with trip to ride Hyperspace Mountain before it closes! 39 days to our next trip (which was planned months ago). When we heard it was closing 1 week before our planned trip we knew we had to go sooner. So we'll have 2 trips in 2 weeks. Yay!

My next trip can't get here soon enough!

Considered this, but DH didn't jump for joy when I mentioned it. We are going camping Memorial Day weekend and it would be easy to drive the hour on that Monday and go to the parks for just the day before going home. It would move the start day of our APs up a month, but they're good for 13 months so it'd be okay. I'd also have to change our camping location, but there was availability. I should suggest it again...

So bummed we had to cancel this trip (now rescheduled for late October), especially since Hyperspace Mountain is going away late next month (hopefully it will be back when the new Star Wars movie opens later this year)...however, I have a trip scheduled for June 10-13 with a special family member so I have that to look forward to!

Less than 4 months to go. We had to reschedule our trip in February due to my son's appendix burst. He just has his surgery to have the appendix removed on Thursday and is doing well. Yay, we can't wait to go to our favorite place!!

You are so right, Carolyn! When in August are you going now? I might be there towards the end of the month myself.

We have picked Aug 20-26th. We have 5 day, 1 park per day tickets. I purchased them in December 2016. We had tons of points and some were going to expire. We only paid about 347 for the tickets out of pocket.

Oh that is great...have a magical time in Walt's original park! You will notice how close everything is to each other (there isn't the blessing of size that WDW has), but there are so many special touches here in Anaheim that I'm sure you will enjoy it all!

Thank you! I think I will be taking more pictures on this trip than any of my last few WDW trips. And the GOTG will be open which we are excited about too. So many rides that are not at WDW and some that are but differences. Can't wait to see The Hatbox Ghost and ride Mr Toad again. Etc.

Try very hard not to compare. Those that compare are the ones disappointed. Try to separate them in your brain. Have fun.

I hope I'm not jinxing myself since I had to cancel my last two trips earlier this year at the last moment, but I'm flying out in 3 days to meet up with my great-niece who just graduated from high school!

94 Days to go.... impatiently awaiting Not So Scary Halloween Party Tickets.

  25. #524

We just booked our OCT trip! My hubby is turning 60, instead of a party, he decided to spend his birthday at Disneyland. I'm hoping to surprise him with a Fantasmic Dinner package.

Any day is a great day at Disneyland!
