    Don't forget - registration for the 5th annual Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend opens tomorrow (Tuesday) March 4th @ 9:00 p.m. PST / 12:00 p.m. EST!

Given how fast runDisney events seem to be selling out as well as this being an anniversary race (i.e., special medal time), I would expect it to sell out fairly quickly but we'll see what impact the Avenger's Half has on W&D. Last year's event sold out in 2 months, 2 days. At this time, it's unknown how many spots were sold pre-reg to APs and DVCs.

Next non-Disney short distance event: Good question...
    Next non-Disney Half: TBD
Next runDisney event: W&D Two Course Challenge & 5k

I can't tell you how happy I am to not have to worry about jumping on this one or Avengers. Done and done!

I wonder if it will go over 80% this evening or if we'll have to wait until morning for that milestone to be reached?

I'm IN! Hopefully at this race I can out more names and faces together. If all goes well, I am going to follow RunningFool's lead and do the Very Merry Christmas Party on Friday followed by the W&D on Sat night and really live up this "fly in and fly out" trip.

The 2014 Wine & Dine Half Marathon just hit 92% capacity this morning. If you are still debating signing up for the event, I would suggest that you don't delay too much longer!

PaisleyFox's husband will be doing the 1/2 as well. JulianaC28 is registered for the 1/2 (if they are doing a challenge she may be registered for the 5K too but I'm not sure)

Still need to win the lotto so I can plan trips to Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disney, and Hong Kong Disney.

W&D is at 95% capacity right now. 5K is at 57%

Looks like today will be the last chance for anyone thinking of signing up for the 1/2.

Well... there goes my notion that it would be available for a while. I guess three days is longer than five hours (like the Dumbo). Oy.

I haven't posted in a while, but (OMG) I'm going to run this! Or, at least, I'm going to try. Big fat, hairy, audacious goal!

Hey Mr. Mark, you just showed up in my newsfeed as a Runner's World feature. You've got this! After W&D, you will be thinking, "hmmm...it's only 8 weeks of training between a half and a full. If I just keep going, I could do Mickey's in January." If you have this thought now, it give you time to actually register for it.

Considering the new packet restrictions, I'm glad I didn't sign up for this. I will be there to cheer people on though.

Um, thanks for the confidence, but one of the things that I'm working hard at is to make sure that I don't set my goals too far ahead of myself and get hurt. Coming back from injury, especially during the winter, sucks. That said, I'm giving semi-serious consideration to doing the RW Challenge for the Donald in January. I've got a month to think about it. I don't know much recovery I'll need after Wine & Dine, or what level I'd be able to start back up at in preparation for January. Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to November because I will be leaving the after-party at 3 a.m. instead of waking up at 3 a.m. I am NOT a morning person!
