Last night - Blowing wind - but no snow

Last night's Believe (12/20) was almost cancelled due to wind but went off. Not too bad actually. Then, at the end, you can hear the blowers going and we waited for the snow. and waited. and waited. The entire Main St. was empty of any snow falling but all the blowers ran their requisite time. I was wondering if anyone else experienced that ever and why would that be. would they not "release" the snow but run the blowers? did they forget to fill the soap containers :-)? I'm just curious...

I'm curious about that, too. They did the same thing on Thursday.

Can't wait for the answer because we've experienced that as well, not this year, but in years past.

i actually doubt we'll get anything official. I just thought someone may know who is a longtime or former cm - or someone who knows the layout from reading online. Seems like if its a single reservoir for the snow solution that would be an easy fix - and why the whole street was free of snow. still wondering...
