    A Christmas Story. Hands down.

    I die laughing every year.

How I made it to my 40's without seeing this movie I have no idea.

I've been wanting to see "Scrooged" again for years now. I only have an old VHS copy. Haven't gotten around to looking for a DVD of it.

Please don't ask me how I feel, I feel fine.
Oh I cry a bit, I don't sleep too good, but I'm fine

I think I just saw it on TV. Do you have a DVR that you can search for movies?

I got Scrooged at Wallmart for $5 last week. Forgot how good it was. Big Bill Murray fan.

A Christmas Story. Every year we have the 24 hour marathon on. It has become part of our Christmas tradition.

The greatest Christmas movie of all time is Christmas Vacation.

The classics for us (and as many as possible on the big screen):
    It's a Wonderful Life
    Holiday Inn
    White Christmas
    Bells of St. Mary's
    Miracle on 34th Street
    Little Women (Winona Ryder version)
    Meet Me in St. Louis
The Nutcracker (not really a movie, but a holiday tradition -- ABT version, although Royal Ballet is lovely, too)

Christmas Vacation (my favorite to have running in the background while tree decorating )
    A Christmas Story
The Polar Express (but I'm a little biased because I am a train nut)
Miracle on 34th Street (original and also the remake from 1994)
    Jingle all the Way

    Oh, and
    It's a Wonderful Life

    #1 - A Wonderful Life
    in no particular order

Elf, White Christmas, Jingle all the way, Miracle on 34th Street, the claymation shorts - not technically a movie I know but it's just not the season without Rudolph and the island of the misfit toys, Santa s coming to town, Frosty and of course the Charlie Brown special!

Life is too short to wake up with regrets ~So love the people who treat you right
Forget about those who don't ~ Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a chance, take it If it changes your life, let it ~Nobody said life would be easy,
they just promised it would most likely be worth it~ remember, Sometimes Miracles Hide

We love the claymation Christmas specials and Charlie Brown, too! And "The Chronicles of Narnia" has joined our list of Christmas movies.

My favorite is The Muppet Christmas Carol. I also love A Charlie Brown Christmas, The Grinch, While You Were Sleeping, All I Want for Christmas, Mickey's Christmas Carol, The Santa Clause.

I just watched Elf for the first time last week and I enjoyed it. I saw A Christmas Story once a long time ago, but I don't remember much, so I need to rewatch. Also I know I saw Christmas Vacation as a kid but again, I don't remember much. Also, I've never seen It's a Wonderful Life or Miracle on 34th St and I know I need to!

Thank you. This ^. I was beginning to think I'd scroll through all 11 posts and not see it. Which would cause shock. Shock!

Both versions of A Miracle on 34th Street. The original and the remake.

For me it's ALL about the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. If I watch no other movie over Christmas, it has to be THAT one!

    Christmas Story
    It'sa Wonderful Life
    Meet me in St. Louis
    Christmas Vacation
    Muppets Christmas Carol
    White Christmas
In no particular order. Most of them we own, some we wait for broadcast television. These movies are just a part of our family holiday traditions. The Prep & Landing shorts are adorable.

You're right. John Ritter (RIP) gives his most epic performance of all time I think. So funny.
