    Visa meet & greet

What are the times of the Disney Visa meet & greet? They seem to change them often. I am in the parks and I went over to the location at 10:20 yesterday and there were no times posted. I asked Information and she told me between 10-12, so even she did not know the correct times. Anyone been recently and know the times. I hate missing the free picture every time we are here.

It's now 10:30 to 1:30 daily. There are 2 characters trading off with 1/2 hours shifts. As of last year, it was Minnie & Stitch.

Speculation on my part, but I believe they changed the time because of Carsland. It used to be 1/2 hour after park opening and went for an hour and a half. I think so many people were missing it in the morning Carsland rush. And, the opening time moved to 8 so that meant 8:30 and that was way early. I think the set time is much better for them and an extra hour is good for us.

Just got back home yesterday. It's 10:30-1:30. GENERALLY, it's Minnie from the half hours (10:30-11, 11:30-12, 12:30-1:00) and Stitch the rest of the time, though I was told it's not a guarantee (on the times).

This was my experience last week as well; however, it was surprising to see Stitch switch out with Minnie at 1:20pm last Thursday!

I forgot to mention that they have a new policy: CM Raymond was very cafeful (on more than one occasion that I witnessed) to explain that the new voucher would ONLY be honored at Kingswell Camera Shop at DCA (NOT DL anymore, and it does say that on the voucher) on the day the voucher is issued (which I guess would be known by where the pictures are on your photopass card and what you are wearing that day) and you will NOT be allowed to stockpile the vouchers and redeem them all at once.

Interesting, does the voucher still have an expiration date into the future? I know they used to expire at the end of September.

You know, I didn't ever get around to reading the fine print on the voucher and just went by what the CM was saying! The vouchers are now the same size as the ones they have at Epcot, rather than looking like a park ticket. However, the part about being redeemable at Kingswell Camera Center is in big font on it!

Gah, does that mean it won't fit in my witz case? Is it bigger?

It did not from what I could see. We only went to the meet and greet once during Thanksgiving week and never made it over to redeem the voucher and also never put to the test whether the one day only rule would hold true. I didn't see an expiration date anywhere on the voucher but I did see something on it that looked like a code that could be used as a unique identifier. I took the CM at his word that the voucher needed to be redeemed that day and didn't worry about it when I never made it over.

It is, but it is thin paper and easily folded in half! It's about 1.5" X 3" (they have a pad of them and just rip one off for each guest) so you should be fine!

I looked. I didn't see an expiration date, but I did see a ticket number (I received twoone for my Visa and one for my Disney debit card & they were in numerical order).

I'm okay with the fact that the free picture has to be the ones you got there. But it is kind of a bummer that you have to pick up the picture that day. I wish they would give you a week that way you could get the pictures from your trip all at once. I guess they may not want people going every day on their trip to get a free photo, so making it more difficult could cut down on that.

We usually get the picture daily. It really isn't too difficult. Photopass in DCA, rarely has a line.

I've been skipping the meet & greet recently but when I did it more often I liked being able to save the coupons for when we visited with friends. Then I could get two prints of the same picture and give one away.
