(Changes at) The Pepper Market at Coronado Springs

drops the automatic 10% gratuity. The restaurant now has an area to fill your own drinks. They still have the cards and you pay at the end of your meal.

The Pepper Market at Coronado Springs

So it's a true counter service except the paying at the end part?

yes. Disney pushed for the Pepper Market to become more like the food courts at the other hotels.

This is an improvement if you ask me. Glad to hear it. PM being something of a "one off" was the main reason why I kinda strayed away from it if given a choice.

I agree! It was strange when you had to pay a gratuity for a drink. We had mixed reviews of the place, so it would be more enticing now to try again.

Working hard for that next WDW trip!

I'll try it out in 30 days! Glad they made the change...who wants to pay more than they need to!

The other cool change is that your waitperson will take your payment right at your table, eliminating the need to queue up at a cash register when you exit. Excellent changes!
