I was hoping to do the Dumbo Double Dare, but it sold out while I was in the middle of signing up, so now I'm just doing the half. It will be my first time going to California, so I'm pretty excited about that and the coast to coast medal.

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

Doc and I are in for Dumbo Dare. Doc registered at WDW Marathon Weekend, I signed up with Team Muscle Makers for UCMD so I'll be fundraising for this one. I had sworn off the September Half but this was too tempting to resist.
Our son will run the 10K.

I am; I'm so glad I went ahead and registered my husband and myself at the Tink expo! I was just going to wait until I home but I probably have missed out. We are also running the 5k with 2 of our kids and our 15 year old will run the 10k. So a family full of medals that weekend!
Dumbo, baby! I'm looking forward to it. Not so much the training, but all the bling: 10k, half marathon, Dumbo and Coast to Coast all in one weekend.

I too am going to be with Team Muscle Makers this year! Participating in just the 10K this time, but if the DDD is sticking around, I will be doing that next year.

Ok. I'll throw in my hat. I always told my DH that there would only one thing that could possibly inspire me to run 13 plus miles and that would be Walt's original park. I've been lurking here for a bit and feel like I "know" a lot of you after reading all your training schedules, what you wear, how you fuel, etc. It will be exciting to possibly meet some of you on race weekend.
